Hyper 212, does it still hold up?

Patsy

Hey guys, really need to overclock my cpu for a couple weeks, to meet a deadline on a 3d animation project. The software uses solely the cpu for rendering, so thought it might quicken up if i do some overclocking goodness.
Question, their isn't much cooling options when it comes to air where I live, but i do know my local stocks the hyper 212x, are these good enough to overclock an fx8350?

can someone also tell if this is a stable board to overclock on,

Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P

It is good if you plan on running stock speeds, but for overclocking you are out of luck. Try water cooling if you can, i recommend cosair.

Solid State Drives: Two PNY 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drives | GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition

PSU: Thermaltake Smart 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply | Case: Thermaltake Core V71 ATX Full Tower Case.

A 212X will allow you a small overclock honestly, as long as temps don't go super high

Well patience is key when doing stuff with pc's, specifically when you are on a budget. It is all worth it when it is finished and paid off.

The deepcool AIO is fine, see if you can get it for less than the Corsair (take the cheapest honestly). And preferably a 240mm since the 120mm AIOs aren't so good.
