Right, because you couldn't possibly have any bias whatsoever considering your work with NASA...

At this time the investigation is under way and won't be reported on until completed. They cannot talk about while it's still open, legal reasons and such.

This topic is locked for the same reason the mega topic was, and we don't really need another topic on the issue.

Maybe don't get into vehicles, even if the CEO would, if the CEO complains about safety regulations.

I would rather "build it right the first time", the method that engineers used before computers were a commodity, than "keep hitting that compile button, eventually, one of these builds will work" strategy that Google uses. In the chase for AI, we're really getting as far from "build it right the first time" and instead "build as many broken things as possible and simulate it until it self-figures out how to do do it in one try", that can be very expensive, very quickly.

It was, nevertheless, a test flight. Not a "let's crash it against the wall" type of test but still a "let's see how far we get" type of test.

If they'd declared it safe for human space travel and had had actual passengers on board, you'd have a point. It's simply a different way of developing a new rocket system. Less time in the lab, more time on the flight pad.

This. The guy deserves the hate, SpaceX does not.

Done. The only reason I've had to replace my "charger" (cable, not the charger itself), is because I use these magnetic cables and after a while, they fill up with iron sand and other garbage. Trying to clean them up can result in the tiny pins breaking. Still better than breaking the USB-c connector on my phone though. Just leave the plug inside all the time, with a phone case, it's flush, no risk of damaging anything.

But as far as an actual charging cable / charging brick... I have never once had one die on me. Not even Micro USB. They never frayed like Lightning cables tend to do, they never stopped working randomly...

Just be like me and not use RGB or devices that require proprietary software to function. Last Razer peripheral (minus a Razer Core) I purchased was back in 2012, before realizing that the Razer Naga is worthless, even while playing WoW.

Custom keyboard, Logitech mouse (using onboard profile), standard wireless headset, RGB disabled in the UEFI on the mobo. Between the G900 and G903 mouse I've used since ~2016, I've had the Logitech software installed for probably a sum of 2 hours. Its designed to be 'set and forget' using local profiles on the device.
