The G6 is a fantastic phone. The specs aren't quite as impressive as the S8 but it's still a beast. No issues with it. You don't see it very often because for some reason LG doesn't advertise it at all

I own a 1440p144hz TN panel and have been very happy except for some QC control issues from Asus (even with TN panel...). Concurring with @Princess Cadence, I really don't feel a noticeable difference between 100hz and 144hz. Yes there is a difference but not worth giving up the ultrawide panel. And anyway, it's not like you're going to be pushing that many frames at that resolution with a 1070.
 
I recommend the ultrawide, but also look at some other brands since Asus has AWFUL quality issues and their service is not acceptable for the price of the monitors. If you get lucky and get a good one they're awesome though.

Your 1050ti is still a great card. You'll be much happier waiting at least until next gen and getting a card that will perform much better and you won't run the risk of losing your money on a bad used deal

Well. Turn the system off. Unplug it. Open it up. Remove the CPU heatsink. Remove the pad by just peeling it off then remove the thermal compound with a rag (and isopropyl alcohol if you have it). Put new thermal compound on. Put the heatsink back on.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be anything really terrible in your PC that would cause noise. I think it's all normal, just cheapish fans.

You'd end up disliking VR because of how incapable the GTX 960 is for it.
 
Personally, I'd upgrade your GPU and then down the line if you want to try VR then try it when you have a good enough GPU like a GTX 1060, 1070, RX 580 or VEGA 56.

Poor man's Pad Thai . You make some noodles and put peanut butter in the water. Be careful of adding too much. I also add some veggies. It's a really cheap and easy meal that tastes decent if you balance out the flavours
 

On the original roadmap, Volta was the successor to Pascal. But there was a leak that Nvidia might be skipping Volta and making new chip called "Ampere." Nothing else is known. 
 
Honestly, they have skipped already skipped Volta(because of Pascal), So this leak is probably true.

I personally can feel the difference from 60hz to 100hz but no difference from 100hz to 144hz.
 
Personally speaking ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio is absurdly more superior to 16:9 every one I know who tried it out myself included already decided to never go back to the common 16:9 ratio ever again.
 
immersion is superior, image quality is superior, you have more virtual space, resolution is higher, higher feeling of luxury truth be told as aesthetically speaking it also looks nicer.
