What you are looking at is VID, which not the same as VCore.  VID is what your chip is requesting for voltage and VCore is what is being delivered.  Two completely different things.

Use something like AIDA64 or HWMonitor to monitor what's actually being delivered to your chip.

I would also suggest like others have said, to buy a couple new USB 3.0 sticks, they are DIRT CHEAP these days (and much faster if your PC supports them), I paid 11 bucks (USD) for my 32GB and $24 for my 128GB (both USB 3.0) newegg often has 3 packs of 8GB USB 3.0 flash drives in the 10-20 dollar range.

Windows 10 reacted to gio_v in Living with a chromebook
    Hi,
This is my first post to the LTT forum and the subject I want to discuss is chrome os and chromebooks (that's a first). The main reason being that I recently purchased the Dell chromebook 13 (the cheap celeron one) and I would like to share my impressions and frustrations on the subject.
First of all I would like to point out that I had my old laptop (the one I replaced with the Chromebook) for three years. It was my only computer for most of its life. As for its specs it was an i7 3630QM with a gtx 660m, 8gb of ddr3, an 256 gb ssd and 1tb HDD. This machine was not a laptop per say, it was heavy and bulky and on battery, it could browse the internets for around an hour before its next recharge. Performance wise it was not great either. Sure it could play whatever I threw at it but the experience was never satisfying (low res, low detail, low fps). So the day it died I decided to upgrade and the upgrade path would be 1000 euros the best thing I could buy for gaming, light cad applications, local data storage and backup.
Now I searched a lot on this subject and I mean a lot, the only solution that makes sense at this price point is desktop pc for the heavy lifting and a cheap laptop with good display (combined with steam in home streaming, windows parity for NAS functionality and chrome remote desktop for everything else). Now for my needs I also purchased an android TV box but that is not relevant. The desktop pc specs are here if anyone is interested and the laptop of choice is this.
Now I was ready to send the chromebook back the first ten days of living with it. First major problem was the installation of ubuntu via crouton. Due to dependency problems I couldn't install steam or KODI to it so no media and game streaming for me. VLC player was an option for videos and firefox for browsing in ubuntu but not much else I could do, I thought I might as well stick to the chrome os to get rid of the annoying developer mode ''welcome screen''. Another issue I encountered was every time I did a sudo apt-get update on linux, It destroyed my crouton setup and the only thing I could do was to reinstall everything. So because of these issues, I was very disappointed on my purchase at first. I was ready to break the seal and format the thing to a full linux (GalliumOs) machine but I reconsidered and gave chrome os another chance.
I started by browsing for game stream solutions and I came across Moonlight for chrome os, (more on that here). Great overall solution for 1080p game streaming but it only works on nVidia cards. Input lag is low, graphics are great and 60 fps stream totally doable even on wifi. So I do play games smoother and at better quality than my previous laptop but only at home.
Second problem is KODI. I use it a lot for media sharing in the house and I would like to have that function on my chromebook. The alternative for this is of course Plex. Chrome has a native Plex plugin that works pretty good on light weight hardware so problem solved. I do miss some KODI features but I hope that I get it with future android compatibility. The last thing I needed was to use autocad lt and sketchup for work on the move (trust me I am an engineer) and for that I ended up using my.sketchup and the good old chrome remote desktop for autocad. I know that online solutions are never the answer but I found that these are surprisingly not at all data hungry so my 5 gb mobile data plan is sufficient for my needs.
So overall am I satisfied? Not completely but now I am better than my previous setup. To start with the pros the Dell chromebook 13 features one of the best 1080p IPS screens I have ever seen, the build quality is great with magnesium alloy body, carbon fiber screen cover and glass track-pad. It can also last from 6-10 hours with a single charge that takes around 45 minutes to complete and all that for around 400 euros. The cons are that chrome os lacks features and the machine lacks power and it shows at certain points. Would I recommend a chromebook as a daily driver? Surely but after android store compatibility becomes a thing.
Thanks and sorry for the long post.

The world of computer science is full of opportunity.  Now is an excellent time to start your training. Do not wait for college.  You should actually think really long and hard about whether you even need to go to college at all.  You definitely don't need it to learn the material, and a good employer will care more about your knowledge and talent than your credentials.  There are a host of high quality online training website available.

    https://teamtreehouse.com/
    https://alison.com/learn/information-technology
    https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/categories/online-and-digital

Most are really cheap and you can do it in your spare time while still in high school!  Lets look at two scenarios:

    1) Go to college after high school.  Spend 4 years in training, finish with $20k to $60k worth of debt.  You now have a degree in computer science and you are worth approximately $35k to $50k per year.  You have no wealth accumulated, a mountain of debt, and a lot of pressure to get the best possible job so you can make your loan payments.

    2) Spend 1 hour every day working on some online courses.  By the end of high school you have completed a large number of courses and probably know nearly as much as you would at the end of a 4 year comp sci degree.  You have also been working on app development and have half a dozen apps in the app store.  Perhaps some of them have sold a few hundred copies, making you a small amount of money while you develop your skills.  You finish high school with zero debt, maybe some savings.  Because you don't have a comp sci degree, your wage is only worth $20k to $30k, but it goes up quickly because you work hard and learn fast.  After 4 years of working (the same point in time where you would have finished college) you are now making $40k to $60k, have 4 years of experience, still no debt, probably a good chunk of savings (because you are smart and don't waste it on pizza and beer), and are still climbing the ladder toward your ultimate goal.

Windows 10 reacted to quan289 in Corsair 500W CX for 29 dollars on newegg new, should I get it?
Well, first you will need to buy it at full price (in this case, $53.99), wait until you received the unit, and test it within your system to ensure that it work.

Once you got everything setup, follow the direction here: http://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/Corsair9MirsSep13Sept1916mw55.pdf
Basically, you will need to shipped off the UPC barcode from the box of the CX550M and the receipt to Corsair's Rebate Center within a specific time frame after you fill out a form correctly.

You should get a Visa debit card for $20 after it have been process in 2 months...Which is annoying, and since rebates are handled by a separate third party, there are frequent occasions where people don't received it. Although, despite of this, some of the rep at Corsair forum had show that they do make an effort to make it right so be sure to have some photo copies of the documents, UPC, and receipt before you set it off.

Either way, even without the rebate, the CX550M is priced at a very good deal with it being only $4 more than the 450w model with the promo.

How would I know which 3 fan 970 there are lot out there, and if you do enough research you can find your answer by your self, first find the max GPU length supported by this case, next go your GPU page on Amazon, it's size will be listed there, if the card is smaller or equal to the length supported by your case, then it does fit.

    Common Sense.
