Whats the best thermal compound for below 0°c

I'm trying to find a good thermal compound that performs well down to -50°C that is non-conductive, as it's for power FETs and MOSFETs with a very heavy duty cycle and high current (going to beyond peak surge currents for over twice the rated time) ergo I've opted to keep them as cold as humanly possible within the tiny space (which is why I can't just get bigger higher rated ones)

Yours faithfully

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or GC-Extreme last i heard.

Any of them.

For some reason I'm thinking the liquid would be good since they may solidify at lower temps, but that's incredibly incorrect. Just thought I'd share my lapse in conventional wisdom...

They sell thermal paste at your dollar store? Where do you live, Soviet Russia?

Vatican city (it's under my username) but I didn't mean like literally from the dollar store but like cheap ass 1 dollar ones from ebay.

Heil Jezuz.

OP, you're probably looking at a vapor chamber, right

When did this thread go from -50C to 420C?

Thank, the Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut looks the better of the two, it should survive the quite arduous temperature changes.

Most of them are the same (unless from dollarstore), anyway where in the world does it go down to -50C??

Normal thermal compounds seem to fail (reach -39°C, then when the FET's kicked in they all heated to over 70°C then shortly failed. The thermal compound has become hard and contracted from the cold. The -50°C is from forced cooling, phase change to be exact.

It is a mini phase change cooler, well, mini is a charitible word but it's small and doesn't use too much power (ignoring the 3000 amps being switched by just 10 MOSFETs)

Extreme OC guys run it on LN2.

It'll survive. It was developed for extreme temperatures.
