I run a pretty decent rig in my home setup, a 6600k with nzxt kraken liquid cooling and 16gb of ram, but my graphics card which I love the performance of seems to run hot. I personally don't know what it can handle and don't want to test it, but after playing games like borderlands the pre sequel and overwatch for about 2 hours it gets to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. And then it just sort of hovers there. So I was just wondering if that is a ok temperature or if I need to pump the fans faster (which they already spin quite loud)

The card is powercolor encased in a s340 - not overclocked

that's a great temperature for a card at full tilt

just a little FYI, we use Celsius for measuring CPU and GPU temperature.

anything below 80c is great, so you're fine

We generally refer to temps in Celsius. 150f is ~65c which isn't that high at all for most graphics cards.
