    If you push your CPU to at least 4GHz which should be an easy OC for that chip, there will be no CPU bottleneck.
     
    I think the first thing you should work on would be the graphics card. A GTX 1070 would be a good pairing with that CPU. It will power a GTX 1080 without issue if you overclock it to say 4.2GHz or so.

    I've never had an error while resetting windows. Though I always recommend a clean installation over a reset. I think as of right now a clean installation would also be your best bet. Something is probably corrupted.

    No, just reinstall windows yourself. Reformat the drive if possible, plug in a windows boot device (CD/DVD or a USB flash drive) and reinstall windows.

    Id go 240. Its normally only 20 dollars more, and its hard to fit everything on a 120gb.
