120GB SSD Vs. 240 GB SSD

Skyfliyer

I was choosing some parts for my first rig and I was wondering if a 120gb ssd would be sufficient as a boot drive for windows, and other things like video games. Can I stick with a 120gb, or is it imperative that I go to a 240gb?

Id sat 240. I have a 120 and it works fine for overwatch, CSGO, Windows and a few other tiny games but thats it. better to have that extra space for just a little more

If possible go with the 120gb for OS only installation and get a separate SSD for games. Preferably 500gb or higher since games these days tend to take up more and more space. If this isn't an option, go 240gb.

Probably 240, because Windows takes up around 30gb, and if you want to store some other games and stuff, then that would be somewhat difficult with a 120.

For the price difference I'd aim for a 240 over a 120 especially if it will be the only drive for now. Even if it wasn't the only drive, still get the bigger one to significantly delay having to manage moving stuff around.

Size matters.

At the rate games are increasing in size plus the endless increase in app and program sizes go for 240gb

Honestly. 120gb will get filled in no time.
