Thank you for the input. I've checked out some benchmarks and it seems R9 280 and GTX 960 are pretty much tied. I just noticed a Sapphire 280 for about 10€ less, which will be enough to cover 500W PSU.

mucitel1 got a reaction from Flyguygamer in How long should I run the Aida64 stress test ?
I'd personally leave it on for about three hours for gaming rigs and 6 to 12 on video editing rigs. - Think about for how long you usually game or do CPU-heavy things then leave it running for at least that long and then some more.
For the overclock voltage you'll have to find the right balance, because every CPU is slightly different. For example I'm running my G3258@4.5GHz  1.28v, while my friend couldn't get it to 4.5GHz under 1.4v. I don't know why you'd want to lower 1.18, I'd up that to 1.25 - 1.3 and try to get higher frequency if possible.

Whichever has the smallest screen is gonna last longer.
If they're the same, the intel one is gonna last longer due to the tdp of the A6

Seeing this post I decided to look at your location and OMG I love that description, I'm such a science nerd. Well anyways didn't realize you had a specific budget but I should have noticed based on the headphones listed. I'm not really the best at audio but a lot people love the value in the HyperX Cloud. Ha... the likes on my first post on this thread, you know they're good headphones when that happens.

Im' going to be biast and say the only thing out of those options that wouldn't be offensive to put in your build would be the be quiet dark rock pro 2, I have the single fan version and it just look so awesome and performs well and is also quiet, Even the shadow rock and the advance c1 from dark rock would be a better choice than the others, I see you would like to only spend max 50 Eu but trust me it's better to just a little bit more in the first place and save yourself the dissatisfaction down the line only wanting to change it out for something else, Better to get the one you want in the first place and be happy

by unplugging everything I meant all USB connections (printers, webcams, external hard drives,...), speakers/headphones, eSATA drives, etc. on the back of your PC. Leave everything inside the pc where it should be just to make sure it's not peripherals causing your problem.

    1. Do you have any pets? Maybe your cat or dog use the PC overnight.
    2. Try plugging everything but monitor and AC power out and see if it still turns on.
    3. Reinstall all drivers you have.
    4. Call Ghost busters....

I know you already checked your BIOS for wake on LAN and stuff, but is it updated to latest version?

If it's not events or peripherals turning on your PC, I don't know what else could.

Open the case up and make sure you have all pins properly installed and make sure they aren't shorting out or something weird like that. Also ensure that your power button on your case doesn't get 'stuck'.

(If you were told to do these already and everything works there as it should ignore this post, I didn't read every post)

go to command prompt and type these:

    powercfg -lastwake
    powercfg -requests
    powercfg -waketimers

report back with log of what it said, should be something like this

In Task Scheduler, just turn everything to "Run only when user is logged on." in security options (You will have to set one by one afaik)

Open Event Viewer and check if there is anything odd going on during the time when the computer turned on.

Make sure there is no device that can turn on the PC in Device Manager

Use linux live usb to verify if you still have problems when running right from USB. SSD wont be used and if problems persist, it's motherboard. If they don't it's SSD.

I would try THIS program to install stuff to your USB and boot off that. It has many tools you can download to test almost everything.
