Buying new €300 laptop for school

mucitel1

Me and a friend of mine are are looking for a new laptop for school for about €300.

Currently, we are deciding between these two laptops: Acer Aspire E5-511-P7AT and Lenovo IdeaPad G50-45

Specs:

Acer Aspire: Intel Pentium N3530; Intel HD (Bay Trail) GPU;  4GB DDR3L; 500GB HDD

Lenovo: AMD A6-6310; Radeon R4; 4GB DDR3L; 1TB HDD

I believe the Lenovo would be faster both CPU and GPU wise, but my main concern is battery life hence it's for school, where I'd expect the battery to last at least around 6 hours. Also the lenovo's HDD appears to be SATA 2, don't know if that would have a major performance hit, but I'm expecting to replace the HDD with 120gb SSD when I get some more money.

So my question is: Which laptops battery would last longer? Which one of these should I pick up?

Don't recommend other laptops apart from these two, please.

Edit: Both laptops come without OS, because I'll install my own copy I got for free from Dreamspark

I think the Lenovo is te best possible choice, the pentium would be way better for single core, but the a6 + r4 are gonna be way better for graphics and it also has double the storage, do I'd choose the lenovo/

I understand that, but I also want the battery to last for a long time, around 6h, which one would be better in battery regard? A slightly more powerful laptop is useless if it's out of juice.

Whichever has the smallest screen is gonna last longer.

If they're the same, the intel one is gonna last longer due to the tdp of the A6
