Looks good, however i would advise getting/changing:

  • 3570K to a 4670K
  • So you would also need a different MoBo, like the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H
  • You might just want to go for a Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler
  • Possibly an SSD for OS

Nah, his cooler(CM SEIDON) is better.

I would get other PSU + would add SSD. Everything else looks fine.

I would swap out the PSU for a Corsair CX600M or CX750M because they are both modular. I bought a non modular and I seriously regret it. I think the 3570k is actually not really a bad choice against it's haswell equivalent if you don't mind a lot more power consumption. And although this last bit is mostly personal preference I wouldn't recommend that case. Go for a fractal design or Corsair if your budget (whatever it is) permits. Everything else looks golden.

Only thing I would change,

- get a 650w MODULAR psu

- change your cooler to either a highend air cooler, a 2 x 120mm AIO, or a Hyper 212 EVO. Dont get that cooler its not worth the money

-add an SSD

I'd suggest something like this instead:

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard:  Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Memory:  Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card:  XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card  ($309.99 @ NCIX US)
Case:  Corsair 350D Window MicroATX Mid Tower Case  ($79.99 @ Microcenter)
Total: $1074.91
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Also get some sleeved cables.
Or you could buy the Corsair Air 540 case with Gigabyte Z87X-D3H board.

My rig: CPU: Intel core i5 4670K MoBo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4GB 1600mhz CL9 GPU: EVGA GTX780 SC ACX SSD: ADATA Premier Pro SP900 256GBHDD: Western Digital RED 2TB PSU: FSP Aurum CM 750W Case: Cooler Master HAF XM OS: Windows 8 Pro

Hi all~
Greatly appreciated and how fast i can get real good suggestions from you guys. I'm from Singapore so PC parts are quite pricey here due to the tax and transport fee. Not all parts are available here unlike the US. My budget is 2K.(SGD)
Here the pricelist at the shop i would consider the most trustworthy over here. Prices are in SGD. Will be really appreciative if you guys can take a look and suggest :)

Hmm im only getting the water cooler for cosmetic reasons, but performance wise if i don't do any overclocking, it's still alright right? :o

The H60 is pretty crappy and nnoisy. Get the H220. Its a 240mm watercooler but you can change the tubing and coolant to look cooler. Its quieter and performs MUCH better

:o But i was planning to use CM SEIDON 120m CPU cooler. only wondering if it's alright if i use it for cosmetic reason or is there another liquid cooler than offers great performance at a lower pricing

The only water cooling options that are better than high end air coolers will be dual fan slot Rads, and the cheapest 240M is 168$,and thus the most worth it one will be the Corsair H110 at 179$.Since it uses 140mm fan instead of 120mm,giving more performance. However many cases will not fit this thing afaik. However if simply for cosmetic reasons, the 120V is more than enough, performs somewhere slightly worse than a Noctua NH-D14.

I saw the NH-D14 sold at 129$ in TradePac,but they state it is LGA2011 version and they might not put the 1150 bracket inside(like they took it out and resell it or something)

Also you might be interested in the Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler, performs similarly to the nh-D14,but have different colours like blue or orange. But i doubt Pc Themes have it.Maybe you can call YiLong to ask,ask in their facebook page or something.
