A good 1440p 144hz monitor is very expensive while you can get a great 1920x1080 144hz for a fair amount. 

1080p 144hz monitor is more enjoyable compared to 1440p 60hz, yet at a lower price.

It might go down by $5-10, the game i really expect to go for cheap is Mafia III

Hate is pretty strong word. Closer would be dislike. I had few deathadders and they broke right after warranty ended. Good mouse but poor durability.  Never went back to Razer products after that.

I have been playing this awesome mod for day or two. I suggest anyone that likes Skyrim to give it a go. It's completely new map, story, and has nothing to do with the Elder Scrolls lore as far as I know. Leveling system is different and the story/dialog is fully voice acted. Voice acting is pretty good for a mod.

reason being, no scaling issues, faster smoother fps, easier to drive and run, and did I mention no scaling issues
 
if a 1080 (or 1080 sli or 1080 ti) can utterly crush 4k 60fps, then 4k would be a justifiable option, but currently I dont see that being the case, and from benchmarks a single 1080 will not do 4k 60 100%
