Shhhhhhh, calm down. Everyone knows this. Everyone just buys them because humanity has a thing for trends over practicality *AHM I'm special*. I TRIED to use a mac but I swear the thing has been degrading over the years or something. And yes, we bought one (not me) because a business man in this day in age looks for something his co-workers have. They don't care about specs, they don't care about reliability because they can afford to change it every year to look like an average businessman who is "prepared", "well organised", and doesn't go against what everyone else is doing. Just note that everyone who is a techie knows this but those who aren't just can't be bothered to buy a better alternative. Simple as that.

Even without a liquid cooler that bottom fan should be for intake and not exhaust.

I would flip the bottom and the front top fan. More intake (Positive airflow) helps reduce dust buildup and is better for cooling, at least in my experience.

The reason GPU 2 would run hot is because GPU 1 is exhausting its hot air straight onto it. If the GPU is looking dusty blow it out with some compressed air.

I'd put the bottom right fan as intake and not exhaust, you're just pulling the fresh cool air out right away. And yeah naturally GPU 2 would be a lot hotter because GPU 1 is exhausting down into it. I'm super anal about thermals and this is how I have my fans.
 
This is my setup: The front two fans and bottom fan are all intake. The top two fans and rear fan are exhaust. I do not have two cards in SLI but other than GPU and CPU temps I never see anything hit over 40 degrees C, even under very heavy use. Hope that helps!

You can also remove the cooler and put some new thermal paste on, that should cool it down if you haven't replaced it for a while.

Few notes on pic. GPUs fans are PSUs fan are both intaking ones. So arrows are incorrect there.

For the cpu or gpu's?
The 750D has pretty shoddy airflow and was designed for liquid cooling. Attaching a fan at the front of the graphics cards pushing air between them shoudl also help.
Dust filters and other obstructions are often on intakes and not exhausts which significantly lowers airflow. Unless rpm's are adjusted to compensate for this, an intake usually doesn't have bring in as much air as a similar exhaust fan does.

In all honesty i always try to have as many fans pushing air out as i do pulling air in, to me that just makes sense to have equal flow of air going into and out of a case  

If that is the G1 GTX980 Ti, i'd take it over +$100 GTX1070 anytime any day. Windforce model though, still a good card and will perform similar to the 1070 but will use more power though not by "much".

Don't worry too much about gtg response time. I would suggest getting 1440@60 or 120hz monitors so that they'll last you a little longer
