Nope. Well maybe turning down settings. I am looking for some 4K experience too and deciding between a RX 480 and 1060 which both does not do really well. (around 20 fps maxed out)

Well I'm not really looking to max everything, but looking for a good playable experience in 4K.

I just really don't want to have to buy a new GPU again as for I've had it for less than a year and dropped $500 Canadian on it

I want to run games in 4K and watch videos in 4K, something a 1080P monitor can't do

I think the idea of whats "playable" is a matter of perspective. some people are fine with 30fps, and other want to barf at anything less than 60. I personally don't like to comprimise quality too much over higher resolution.

Fair enough. I'm considering getting a 2nd GTX 970 for SLI, maybe then it'll be better

But yeah 30fps to me isn't too bad. I game at 1080, max settings and get 60fps for the most part, just don't want to slow things down too much to game at 4K
