I recently purchased a EVGA 1080 ti FTW3 (coming from two MSI 980 ti's GE). And I find that what I used to do to switch between DSR settings in games is not working anymore. I used to be able to just switch to 4k resolution In-game. Now I cannot seem to enable it at all. I'm currently being limited to 1080p in all games while in-game, and Geforce experience allows me to change my applied settings to 2k, and 4k, but then I get in-game and it's right back to 1080p. Anyone else have these problems? I seem to be able to change my desktop to 4k just fine.... I am confused, and it's probably something just really dumb I am overlooking.... Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Have you gone into the NV control panel and re-enable the scale factors (you can set like 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 4.0 scaling factors in the control panel)

2X, and 4X were enabled. I did not enable all of the factors tho.

I think it depends on the display connection.

For example HDMI 2.0 is rated for 4k 60Hz so 4k DSR on 144Hz 1080p will also function only at 60Hz.

Yeah, the monitor I have only has 144hz through the DVI-D port.  Setting it to 120hz works fine for DSR apparently tho, with my setup at least. Don't know why I did not have to F with it at all before but ehh w/e. 120 should be fine for 4k.
