Madison is mine currently. Just watched the latest TechLinked that she hosted and I've gotta say, think she did well considering it's her first 'proper' video other than RIG Reboot. She's rather active with the community and frankly it's nice to have more women in a tech space that's fairly dominated by males. Also, the dynamic between her and Linus I find hilarious 😆

Meh, I expect nothing less tbh. Here in the UK an MP who was accused of serious sexual misconduct against female workers was just cleared of any wrongdoing by his party. No police investigation, just a he didn't do anything wrong and we're all expected to accept it.

But today the case and some parts for the case (wheels, rad mounts) arrived today. Sadly I have two laptops and 5 desktops on the bench at the moment I need to get done first. But once they're done I can map out the parts for my coolings loops.

 
 

WARNING: You'll have to do a little more research on your own. I avoid aluminum in my build since I went the copper route. 
 
I know thermaltake has aluminum radiators. You may want to look into them if you're in a hurry to make your build. They may have other aluminum parts you can mix into your build. To be honest I trust EK and if you can wait for them to flush out their aluminum lineup that might be best.

NOTE: Also I read somewhere that you should be careful about the thermal paste you use.  Some brands has metals mixed into the paste that may react badly with the Aluminum Blocks overtime. (I believe the safe metals to mix with aluminum are sliver, nickel and stainless steel.)

one advice i can give to you : dont go for 4k
Why : because you wont be able to play any game at ultra settings with gtx 1080 , not even with Titan X Pascal so your experience wont be that good
 

yea, I won't leave evidence sitting to be over written when I can use it to my advantage. lol. now time to wait for discounted 32gb sd cards.

I've tried the Gigabyte 1080 xtreme gaming card, mine unfortunately failed after just 1 week (I'm sure this is just a one off, they're a great company and sh*t happens). I returned mine and ended up buying the EVGA 1080 FTW instead. It's definitely marginally quieter than the Gigabyte card was under load. I have a very poorly ventilated case (1 case fan only) and room and the FTW card doesn't reach temps any higher than 72c whilst overclocked and is still very nice and quiet.
 
Like others have said already I'm sure, these pascal cards overclock really nice so perhaps picking based on factory overclocks isn't the best idea seeing as you could easily achieve this with a little tweak on lower clocked ones. My FTW for example GPU boosts on it's own to just under 2100Mhz (obviously your results will vary depending silicon lottery).

i know, wasnt planning to go 4k. i care more for FPS. and i feel like 1440p is the best spot for a gtx1080

No, it's not.
If GbE was inadequate for basic users, or the average user, manufacturers would be selling 10GbE at every big box store under the sun for a smaller price.
 
More issues stem from latency, speed inconsistency, slow upload speeds, poor consumer networking equipment (excluding high end), and the sad state of web browsers, than from throughput.
