Thias.TG got a reaction from Ashiella in Ubisoft is the worst company and does not care about its players at all

Thias.TG reacted to LukeSavenije in how bad is norton
norton is an old company that has made antivirus software for a long time. I'm in general not a big fan of paid antivirus software. just get something free, that's good enough if you use it right

Thias.TG reacted to vorticalbox in Github Microsoft? :(
I believe they started adding pipe lines into azure, like code pipe lines in aws.
Push to master, build and test then deploy.

ehh... We use crucible at work for code reviews, and I gotta say i'm not the biggest atlassian fan...

What's the fear, exactly? I mean microsoft is not exactly my favorite company, but I can't really see them doing anything that would ruin github.
At worst, people will just make new stuff based on the github API, assuming they dont shut that down (which is HIGHLY unlikely)

Pretty descriptive error message there.
Are you sure you're passing it a bit token and not your api token?

An A-Record should do the job. It will forward every port to the IP and the server already handles what programs respond to what ports.
Otherwise look into SRV Records.
Edit:
A good practice when using an A-Record is to lock down the ports on an application base

Thias.TG got a reaction from John_New_Tech in How do I re-install windows 10 on a ssd when received from 8.1 upgrade?
I did the same, there should be no problem.
I downloaded my windows 10 from here into an ISO and then onto a USB via Rufus.

Thias.TG got a reaction from AndeSandwich in When do you unlock quick switch in the crew 2?
You access it by holding down the F key if you are using a keyboard.

Firstly what type of program are you planning to make? a web app? desktop?
To do this you would require the whole database be shipped with every program, with lots of data this just isn't going to happen. You could do some sort of download were people can save some data to work on while on the road then push the changes to database when the connection is back.
What you should do is write a product spec, outline everything you need the system to do then you can go about designing individual parts.

Thias.TG got a reaction from AskTJ in Project: Zer0
Thank you guys, for some reason I totally missed the information on Threadripper 2. I'll probably wait for that to be released
-
Thias.TG reacted to AskTJ in Project: Zer0
I highly suggest you wait for Threadripper 2. 32 cores for around $1500. And a rumoured 180W TDP.
-
Thias.TG reacted to Jurrunio in Project: Zer0
The 32 core Threadripper should come in Q3 or Q4 2018, with power draw enough to rip the Zenith Extreme to bits when overclocked. That's... sadly only new boards that came out in Computex 2018 are ready to handle the beast, so this 'over the top' build' will soon become 'below the top' build

Hi,
Well your ISP isn't restricting you from portforwarding by default so that should not be the issue. (I'm from Norway so I did some digging on your ISP)
I would use this https://portforward.com/ and find your router and check if you are doing it right.
Then I would check the local firewall on the Linux/Windows Server/Windows PC and see if you have allowed the ports thru there.
Good luck.

Inspiron 5000 series is entry level, cheaped out in overall build quality
Asus Zenbooks (keyboard is OKish)
HP Envy/Spectre line
Lenovo Ideapad 720S/Yoga 720 13
Dell XPS 13
In some cases RAM and SSD can be added after purchase.
Take note that i5 8250U and i7 8550U don't differ much in performance due to TDP limitation of ULV CPUs

I had something not exactly like this but close to...
Check your boot priority (If you have multiple drives)
