Go to an Internet cafe with a usb with a 8gb or more storage,
get a copy of your windows through the windows media creation tool
and boot into your laptop with the usb,

choose (fix your computer) option on the installation page. Should either start or redirect you to the recovery page where you can choose (fix startup)

Ah, if you've got a bunch of native glass, then that makes looking at the R mount make sense. That said, you can score a 6dmkII for pretty cheap these days compared to the R5. I have a bit of a hate boner for Canon (despite having shot with them for years).

Love it. Try checking out mpb as they will list the shutter count of camera's and price/condition, as well as actual photos of the item.

I'm looking at used if I can find one with a decent shutter count, was hoping for a black friday sale but nothing major happened on any of the models I was after, my phone can do 4K, so that is also an option, I have no intention of going into making money from this, I like photography being my escape from everything, just being able to stick my airpods in and walk around for a couple hours just seeing what I can find

Yeah, I don't believe Canon has any more DSLR's in the enthusiast/professional range coming out anymore as they have devoted R&D to their mirrorless system. I did hear that rumor too on the cropped mirrorless camera coming out sometime next year from Canon.

I use the 6D Mark II as my main camera. 7D I'll use if I need extra reach, so perfect with long focal length lenses like the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 or EF 100-400mm 'L'.

no exactly, it was not a close shot at all, however thats my point, the canon crop factor is 60% so if I'd had the R6 that day and cropped down that much it would effectively have been a 13mp shot, where as the R5 would have been 28, more likely to still be useable, at least that my understanding of how that would work in theory at least?

ya the buffer limit on a 1300D is 6 RAW shots at 3 fps, however because I have the RAW and JPEG option enabled it drops it to 4-5 shots before the buffer is full, I am using a Sandisk extreme card, which is about as fast a card as this body supports from what I can find

Wait till the start of next year. Your system is enough to get you buy, so if you can hold off upgrading for about a month, that would be ideal. Intel and AMD are both rumored to be launching new products at the start of next year, and they're both rumored to be great value chips. The i5 12400 for example is rumored to be one of the best value CPUs you can get once it releases and B660 (or whatever they call it) motherboards release. Plus then, maybe DDR5 won't be super expensive.

Well take a screenshot with pc and check if it has the same"artefacts"

If it does it could be the GPU.

If the screenshots are clean it's likely the monitor or the cables.

The wifi to Ethernet bridge mentioned before would be your next best bet. Just plug that into the WAN side of a cheap home router and be done. I would be surprised if you spent $50 on both the bridge and router that way and it should still be plug and play.

Ok, if it's purely for use during working hours, then one of the bundled DVR+Cameras deals is probably the best bet. Costco often has some bargains on those, if you are near one/have membership.

Actually, thought of a snag to wired - if it's stables, and some are external cameras, you'd have to faff with lightning protection etc... wireless might well be best in this case afterall 👍

A dual core athlon and RX 570 to start off is better value, and you get a B450 motherboard with a nice heat sink for a much better upgrade path in the future. Also you can cut the fan hub, and windows can always be activated down the line.
