Why do you worry positive or negative pressure? Positive pressure thing is overrated. Dust will get inside nonetheless. As long as there is no hot air build up inside that affects cooling.

The TDP is its cooling potential, i.e. it's sufficient for cooling a chip that draws 120W or less of power. The only thing that draws power on a cooler is the fan, and you're talking a few watts or so there, so nothing to even worry about.

I think the choice to have a fan pulling air through the fins is more interesting than them cutting down the PCB to put a fan there in the first place.

Most fans can't maintain as high pressure differential while pulling air through something as they can pushing air through something. The fan design on the 3080 and 3090 are very different though so maybe nvidia found a design that can mitigate this.

If I had to guess as to why they did this, I would say that it is a noise thing. They can run the fans faster for a lower noise level because the fan blades are causing less buffeting because the air they are pulling from is less dense to begin with. The fins could also help generate more laminar flow into the fan which should reduce the nose further.

It's not a real GTX 1050. It's probably some older card like a GTX 200 series, if that, that's had a fake VBIOS flashed to it to make it look like that in windows. If you really want to get it working, you might be able to take the cooler off and look at the part number on the die and it will tell you what it is. IMO it's not worth the effort, just try and find another one.

In a totally shocking move that nobody saw coming, Facebook has strong armed Oculus into making Facebook logins mandatory starting in October. Anyone purchasing a new headset will be required to log in with a Facebook account. Anyone with existing accounts will have until the end of 2022 to sign in... how generous.

As stated by Road to VR:
And as it's no surprise to anyone, Facebook plans to track what you do in game to enhance your gaming experience sell you ads.
And just to make sure they spat in the face of everyone who values privacy...

    Rant:
Oculus used to be the headset I recommended because it was cheaper than what Valve offered and had a compatible gaming experience. I thought that what Oculus was doing was great for the VR market as they were trying to make headsets more affordable to the everyday user which is something that Valve had no interest in doing. The problem is that the people who typically buy an Oculus, or even a VR headset in general, tend to be more tech savvy people who don't want Facebook tracking their every move. Some, myself included, not only deleted their Facebook but routinely go out of their way to block Facebook trackers wherever possible. The only thing Oculus has done is spit in the face of their core audience with this move.

If they are going to be tracking your data because they are data mining ***** ***** ******, then let's not try to sugar coat the situation by saying that it is to improve the social experience because I'm going to challenge you to show me 10 people who use their VR headsets to socialize using the built in Facebook API now. I'll wait... Most people don't buy a VR headset to socialize with people, and if they do they will just do it through VR chat instead which is arguably better... depending on how you approach the discussion...

I bet what happened is that when Facebook bough out Oculus the stipulation was that Oculus needed to get people to either sign in with Facebook accounts or make them and there was probably some sort of quota. I bet that quota was not being filled because of the privacy concerns around Facebook that most people I know have to some degree now days. This is why it's now required. I have no proof, but it doesn't take much to imagine this is what's being done here.

I'm disappointment that Windows Mixed reality is no longer really a thing, as that would be my new go to option. What FOculus has done is moved the market back in terms of progress now. VR was getting to the point where a computer capable of running it could be had for $400 to $500 USD and a decent headset was $350 to $400, but now nobody is going to recommend an Oculus because of this, and instead recommend a much more expensive headset with a much higher entry cost. Oculus might want to gear up to start selling headsets for $100 because I can't imagine anyone willingly paying $350 just to have ads thrown at them and have their data mined.

Anyone who thinks that I'm over reacting should take a look at r/Oculus and see the backlash happening.

Case fans would only get you gains if you computer starts to run hotter over time, think an hour or more of heavy nonstop load pushing temps up to mid 80s. Most of the time this is not typical for a gaming load... glances at 2500k.

I would try pushing the CPU overclock a bit and see where you end up. I'm personally not concerned at 77*, I wouldn't get worried until you are hitting or exceeding 83* (I think sandy bridge throttles at 89*).

I stopped playing GTA because of all the flying bikes and sci-fi Saint's Row BS they had been adding that was ruining the "immersion" of being a criminal. I bought the game so I could steal cars (you can't even keep high end cars even though it's in the name of the game) robbing banks, making money from jobs and occasionally goofing off and running over your friends at 100 mph.

I've never bought into their business model of you need to pay us money since I was generally disinterested in most of what they added to the game. Anything that they added that I thought was cool was locked behind a pay wall of needing to buy something else that I didn't want because it was not as cool (and absurdly expensive). I've never bought a shark card and as far as I'm concerned, they haven't done anything to deserve my money.

I'm actually okay with casinos being in the game because it's not outlandish to have one in this type of game, I do however have an issue with the fact that real money can be added to play at these casinos. Real life casinos are regulated by law (at least the ones that I'm aware of) so that there are at least chances that you will win once in every so many games, and the chances are disclosed to you.
