The short version is: I had serious problems with all of my Corsair products (3 times with RAM, one with AIO pump and one with my M65) and they do not provide official support on my country, invalidating the 3 year warranty claim printed on the boxes.

Rob.S reacted to DozerKitty in Apple admits in open court to reuse old parts from damaged phones, in new ones
Today Apple has gone to court in a danish courtroom. In its essence, its a case regarding the Danish Sale of Goods Act, specifically in this case about replacing a product that has been damaged within the 2-year warranty, which you get through danish law, and has to receive a "new product of equal value".

In this case, the buyer, David Lysgaard, has received a new replacement phone for his old damaged iPhone 4, but it has contained reused parts from other phones, either returned from customers who did not wish to keep their product, or from products returned due to damage to some extent, but had salvage parts. The Danish Consumer Ombudsman, an institution to help people in cases like this, agrees with David that he should receive a brand new phone, as is the law, but Apple fights this, as this could impact their entire business model.

This is all in danish, but I haven't been able to find anything about it in international media, so a good bit of Google Translate must be put to use, to understand this. This article also has a live blog from the courtroom, which is live right now:
    http://ekstrabladet.dk/kup/elektronik/teknologi/apple-erkender-i-retten-du-faar-aldrig-ny-iphone-som-byttetelefon/6372927

Here is also an article from a few days ago from Business Insider Nordic:
    http://nordic.businessinsider.com/apple-is-violating-danish-laws---and-is-now-suing-an-iphone-user-for-winning-a-consumer-rights-case-against-apple-in-court-2016-10

I'm not sure if this is a case which could impact Apple on a bigger scale, but perhaps it could change some things for the consumers, in a, hopefully, good way.

I don't see how people can blame Tesla for all of this when clearly the problem is not the car but the people that abuse it and use it incorrectly. It not only puts themselves in danger but the people around them and makes Tesla look like a bad automaker.

Rob.S reacted to terrytek in Google has decided that Android 7.0 will not be officially supported on Snapdragon 800/801 devices
This is a major "What the fuck" move right here. You're trying to enable support to nearly all of supported android devices, trying to play Apple's game, but you can't just reject a whole bunch of users just because their phones lack a certain feature.

Be fashionable and comfortable with the new XBox One onesies (pajamas jumpsuit), when you play your XBox One.

Part of a promotion ad in Australia for the new XBox One S, Microsoft reveals XBox One S players wearing this custom XBox One onesies. It is not for sale... or.. is it? What is catching attention here is that the product has too many attention to detail to be just use for an ad, especially with the other pictures showing the onesie properly. Not to mention that, Microsoft shares features of this onesie:

It is also available in black

Rob.S reacted to DragonTamer1 in Is it safe to wash this case's dust filter?
If the metal is coated then you shouldn't have a problem as long as you don't wash it too regularly.

Aluminum will be more corrosion resistant than steel with stainless steel being the best.

After washing it I would dry the metal frame with some sort of cloth just so that it's not sitting in the water. The actual screen can be allowed to air dry.

Have almost the same case, with an XFX 390, 2 front fans (one stock, the other noctua 120mm), 1 rear fan (noctua 80mm), and a noctua cooler for the same CPU you have, barely hear the thing while gaming, idle or doing light work, even now in full summer in an house without AC. All fans are set to run between 800 and 1500 RPM
