Spoonfull got a reaction from bpw87 in Should I replace my power supply?
You're saying the Japanese just use Taiwanese/Chinese capacitors and call them Japanese because they use them?
And why is that? Avg load temps is 62 degrees on both the CPU and GPU although it increases as dust builds up.

Spoonfull got a reaction from EposVox in windows 10
There is no pre-ordering windows 10.
You can reserve your free upgrade. Microsoft is allowing people to upgrade to Windows 10 in waves.
Yes if you dont reserve you can still upgrade for free. You have 1 year to do so. (Until July 29th *2016*)

Spoonfull got a reaction from Bloodyvalley in Nvidia Pascal GP100 GPU flagship has a 4096 bit memory bus and four 8-Hi HBM2 stacks
Well the 4096 bit bus isnt much of a rumor. We know its a feature of HBM 1st gen. We know both series will have HBM 2.0. the 8 hi stack for Tesla-style hardware is more or less a rumor but most of the stuff here isnt all that crazy and somewhat believable/reasonable.
Whats funny is Pascal and Greenland have reportedly taped out around the same time so I wouldnt be suprised if we see launches very close to each other. Im thinking Q2/3 2016, perhaps AMD first? Just speculating but hey you never know.
Oh my, you arent up to date eh? Basically, they are stacking the VRAM on top of the die instead of laying it out around it. Allows for higher memory bandwidth, smaller form factor, etc It will help get us to 4k @ 60fps

I dont know where he got his information, but Pascal is confirmed for 2016. Greenland/Arctic Islands is likely to come in Q2/Q3 of 2016. Both Pascal and Greenland were taped out last month/this month. Time between release and taping is usually 9-12 months. (It was 9 for Maxwell).
Zen is probably coming late 2016/early 2017 to rival Kaby/Cannonlake.

Spoonfull got a reaction from UltraNeonGaming in BSOD out of nowhere
I checked windows event viewer, and it seems to be the failed java install. So far, Ive just uninstall those java updater programs.
After getting out of chat with windows tech support, im thinking of just doing a reinstall of windows. I keep getting tons of errors every single day in event viewer. They seem to be harmless really. Ive been getting them since I installed steam 3 days after I got my PC lol.

Spoonfull got a reaction from Ralph Schaddelee in AMD confirms completing few 14/16nm FinFET product designs
I never said that, and I dont think I implied it either. AMD and AMD users have a serious habit of hyping the living crap out of AMD's upcoming products, and consumers always end up extremely disappointed.
Yes, AMD needs a performance based Zen CPU, at an affordable price point that packs alot of cores. But we dont live in a perfect world, and AMD is without a doubt not sharing alot of things with us. I think people should seriously tone down the hype, because its not healthy for users and AMD.

New Integrated graphics looks a whole lot better...
Im suprised (well not really) that CPU performance is exactly the same. Ive seen bigger gaps between my butt cheeks.
Whatever. Im hopping onto Skylake at the end of this year for sake of platform and DDR4.
Building a new rig spring next year with the new HBM2.0 GPUs and Skylake + DDR4.
By that time, Im just hoping Fractal Design has their R6 out already!
