Inventrious reacted to daniellearmouth in Games Kids Should Not be Allowed to Play?
As far as I'm concerned, each one of these games is M rated for a reason.
Kids shouldn't really be playing any of the six games listed. It's not made for them, the content is aimed towards a more adult audience, and there's still an abundance of games they can play outside of that.

Call of Duty, so Actvision can stop making darn crazy shooters to pander to their 12 year old audience and bring back the likes of Call of Duty 4.

Inventrious reacted to Howlingwolf101 in Games Kids Should Not be Allowed to Play?
I agree that a lot of games should not be played by 12 year olds if it's rated M, there are a lot of games that make light of violence. I don't have a problem with swearing or nudity in games, at 12 years old, chances are good those kids have constant interaction with swearing in school and they probably are well aware of nrop.

Bad parenting is a common thing in case of Games.
Everything with Violence should be 18+.
As long Parents dont care what their Kids do, this will not help though.

When I read this forum... I see a bunch of people who are addicted to their video games. They will say anything to defend their addiction.

I`m talking about people I just met. Not my parents. And I wouldn`t call 90% of the kids on here mature, because they don`t act mature. But as I have shown I have. You definitely are just fixed on the idea kids can`t be mature. It`s quite offending for kids who actually are to get generalized. It`s a very rude stereotype.

Inventrious reacted to ImBleu in The new Razer Blackwidow X
beat me by less than a minute
Things to notice about the Blackwidow X:
1. $10 cheaper (both standard and chroma versions)
2. Cherry MX Switches instead of "premium razer switches"
3. No top protective plate
Razer finally made a good keyboard.

Inventrious got a reaction from Bensemus in Razer Core Confrimed at $499.99 USD
In case you might like, the CEO of Razer posted a statement on the price on Insider (the Razer forums)

Inventrious got a reaction from Automobili3XF in Razer Anansi lifespan?
Anasi was one of the better keyboards. It'll last longer than a Blackwidow or something, so you can expect it to last for a bit.
Like everyone else said, selling is probably your best bet.

Good, that's the way encryption should be. Not saying that I support the killer or anything just that we shouldn't compromise our security/privacy in the event that we happen to require access to someone's files. Even if it means that person would be free to cause trouble.

Inventrious got a reaction from kirashi in [OVER][Worldwide][Razer] 50% off most items on Razer's website
Of course he wants to 'do right for the community'. What CEO doesn't?
the 90% off thing was to show them off a bit. They got so much attention from it that it paid off their losses.
Watch tonight at 9, after the sale is over. The inventories restock fully. They've said before that they are obviously not going to make too many things available because of 'resellers' and all, which is totally understandable (in a way)

Inventrious got a reaction from kirashi in [OVER][Worldwide][Razer] 50% off most items on Razer's website
Do you think they care much? Online they lower their stock by a huge amount during the sale then add it back the day after. They don't wanna sell many products at 50% off, they'd rather make the full money

Inventrious reacted to TrigTrig in Razer Firefly - My Review
In the end, it's all personal preference.
I personally liked the tight fit of my Krakens. I have a set of Kraken Pros for music and the 7.1s for gaming. I think they sound very nice. Ideally for music I'd have something different, but I don't listen to that much to justify buying anything else.
As for the keyboard, I haven't really used any other ones except membrane keyboards. All I know is this is the best keyboard I've ever used.
As for mice, I've been through 5 different brands of mice in the past 4 years and the only one that I've felt comfortable with is the Razer Deathadder, which I've been using for about 2 1/2 years now. No other Mouse has come close to the control and accuracy it gives me. Plus, it feels really solid.

Inventrious reacted to TrigTrig in Razer Firefly - My Review
As an owner of a few Razer products, I can say it's hit or miss with them. I absolutely love my Kraken headset, Deathadder mouse and Blackwidow keyboard. They are all very nice quality and I've never had any issues with them.
I also have a Razer tactical backpack (whatever it's called). It's VERY high quality with a ton of padding and very good weather resistance.
That being said, I also have a pile of Razer stuff I hate.

Inventrious reacted to watts300 in [Privacy] How to stop Mom from spying on me? (Facebook)
Says the kid.
I'm sorry, but you are not right. And here's the cliche that no one ever likes to hear: One day you'll understand.
Forget what's LEGAL for a moment, I have a moral and ethical obligation to know what my underage son is doing and where he's doing it whether it's online or not. Any decent German parent would say the same thing.
I am the parent, and I'm responsible for him, his actions, and his discipline. Any one who says otherwise is either not a parent or ignorant (or a bad parent).
-
Inventrious reacted to Naeaes in [Privacy] How to stop Mom from spying on me? (Facebook)
Look into this before fathering children, please. For your own sake if not for theirs. Kids are not legally responsible for the crimes they commit. Until the age of 14 in Germany, it's the parent, who pays the fines and in cases, goes to jail. Obviously you'd risk losing your kid to social services too. Like I said, sneaking behind the backs of your parents has nothing to do with privacy. I'm not saying privacy isn't among the most important freedoms us humans can have. Not even that kids should not be entitled to a degree of privacy from their parents too. But it's the parent's task to determine that degree, not the kid's.
-
Inventrious reacted to Naeaes in [Privacy] How to stop Mom from spying on me? (Facebook)
Dude... Underage kinds messing behind the backs of their parents has nothing to do with privacy or issues with it. Your parents have a legal obligation to keep tabs on your goings and doings and to step in if you're misbehaving. Facebook also needs to make this as easy as possible. EU is actually on the verge of requiring parent's permission for kids to even use these kinds of services.
Bare with your parents, do your very best in school and sports, say no to drugs and don't worry about Facebook privacy for a few more years.
