notenoughtv reacted to Gimbergsson in A dark theme for LinusTechTips
Hi, recently i have been working on a dark theme for LinusTechTips.
Please leave feedback and if you find something weird post it on the thread. :)
In the spoiler below is a screenshot of the theme (it's on Google chrome).
*I recommend to use the "Original theme" for larger screen sizes and the "Theme without width restrictions" on smaller screen sizes (such as laptops).
**IMPORTANT**
You need to have the site theme on "IP.BOARD"
Instructions↓
Instructions for Chrome, FireFox and Opera!
Install stylish (addon) for Chrome, FireFox, Opera Choose one of these and click on it → Original theme or Theme without width restrictions Click the big green button that says "Install with stylish" Done :D
Instructions for Safari[1]
Download stylish for Safari and install it After installed stylish click on the "S" icon in the top left corner Then choose "Manage" and in the search box search for "linustechtips" Done
Instructions for Firefox on Android
Download FireFox for your android device http://goo.gl/oe1ZJ Just follow the same instructions as Chrome and FireFox :D BUT CHOOSE THE THEME WITHOUT WIDTH RESTRICTIONS
Change logo
Install stylish using the instructions above. Go to http://goo.gl/H8fltY and click install
[1] - Works on both Windows and Mac.

You shouldn't post something so vague in the Build Logs section. It makes it look like you want input

What lights are you using to light up the case if I may ask? They look fantastic

If you are on OSX get the Apple one, if you are on Windows with Bootcamp, get the Apple. But if you are using a Windows machine get the Logitech

notenoughtv got a reaction from nerb in Ducky Shine 2's for 100 dollars.
Searching for a keyboard with MX Clears I went to the website where I bought my Shine 2 from.
What I found is that full size Shine 2's are going for 100 dollars. This site ships for 10 dollars to the US and at least in my case 20 to Chile.
Thought I'd post this here since they usually sell for $140 and now for 120 on NCIX.
Maybe if you want a great keyboard for a discount this might interest you.

I must have read it wrong when I saw it before. But youd do it for more air pressure/flow? Then put their beam air thing on there also get some airflow!

If any shop had "sample earbuds" for you to try I wouldn't get them near my ears anyway.

Hey, 'grats on the excellent purchase, welcome to the Model M club! B) I have a Lexmark Model M (1993) and I simply love that board, I've wrapped it up in a plastic sheet and kept it in a box because, to me, it's a beaut and a treasure. Yours looks to be in about the same near mint condition as mine...production date-wise, ours aren't that far apart. Only snag with mine is the three LED indicators aren't working, will have to get it fixed.....when I'm off my lazy rut that is.
Again, welcome to the club, and do take care of that badboy! :D Mine's the AT version, nothing an AT->PS/2 adapter couldn't solve. BTW, you can use the Part No. to check against this database:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard
If you look at the bottom of the KB, you'd find drainage holes (rectangular shaped holes on the front with retangular shaped black holes within), I've seen demos where water is poured onto the key caps and water simply flow out thru the bottom.

not really. its simple, small and easily can be mounted due to its compact size and
capacity.
the whole idea is that the upper inlet will allow the stream to enter and separate the
air from the coolant and not allow the air to return through the lower exhaust port.
hence the angled deflector just above the inlet port.
the only concern would be if the coolant were to get above 60°, does it react similar
to the XSPC acrylic/delrin and deform under those conditions? it is glued together.
