oskarstankovic got a reaction from Dilen futch in New case for my rig
I was looking at this one and it seems pretty cool! It's not that overprice to be honest, but there's no existences on the Amazon of my country and the taxes from other amazon's are above $100 dollars, so I don't wanna pay that LOL

oskarstankovic reacted to DELTAprime in New case for my rig
I have the H440 2015 ver, it's pretty damn good. Also even if you see an old version of the H440 for cheap I wouldn't recommend getting it, the cooling on it wasn't good.

IMO elite if you have the money...if not go for the 360 controller.

oskarstankovic reacted to spellmanuk in Best controller for PC gaming
i switch between the 360 and the xbone elite dependant on what im going to play i love the xbox one elite just sometimes if you knock a stick from the wrong angle or if you are prone to controller slamming like me they will fall off but thats just they use magnets but the paddels on the back are a god send and the main reason i stuck with it

oskarstankovic reacted to dylan43270 in Which Hyper X should I get?
Literally the open version of the Clouds without a mic since they are the open version of the Takstar Pro80s ( What the HyperX Clouds are made from). For competitive gaming they would be a better option since they have better soundstage and imaging. Unfortunately they have recently gone over a revision recently and are now more expensive.
If you can find some Philips SHP9500s that would always be my best suggestion for a gaming headphone (and headset) as long as they stay under $100, which you can add a Vmoda BoomPro for a mic easily.

It really depends on how you like your sound

oskarstankovic reacted to Klerk in Which Hyper X should I get?
Get the Cloud I and save the extra money, you have a pretty good onboard audio and you won't need the usb dac in the Cloud II.
-
oskarstankovic reacted to dylan43270 in Which Hyper X should I get?
They both sound the same. The Cloud II have more features with the 7.1 dongle, but that is not needed. The Cloud II does have a better mic, but not by much.

oskarstankovic reacted to KemoKa in Kingston SSD question
It doesn't have the problem. The V300 is pretty much the only one that suffers that problem. Unless you go for another like Silicon Power or Transcend. Those are not really reputable brands.
Kingston done guffed on the V300. Calling it the SSDNow and then making it the only SSD available in places like Staples... Kingston really knows how to screw the non-techie individual, cos' they haven't stopped manufacturing the drives. Can't even get a 3K drive at stores.
The Fury doesn't have that problem.
I would go with a Savage though, because Phison controllers are beasts.

The HyperX line of SSDs remain untainted, so you should be just fine.

oskarstankovic reacted to andrewskaterrr in Do you think that Nvidia should recall 970's? (and Nvidia's response)
As someone who owns a 970, I don't really care.
I'm pretty sure everyone who bought a 970 looked at benchmarks first, then MABYE looked at ROPs. But who cares how many ROPs or L2 cache it's using? Performance is the end result we care about and ROPs and L2 cache affect it. So if you saw the performance of the card and were satisfied enough to buy one then obviously you're ok with less ROPs and cache.
I don't care if the 970 has 1 ROP and 1kb of L2 cache or if it runs off fairy dust as long as it performs as it should/does. Did I see special Nvidia videos with the 970 running BF4 4K Ultra 120fps then get mine and see that it can't do that? NO.
That's take a step back and look at something. The Price/Performance follows the normal upgrade trend, that's good. Now look at the 970 vs 980 which cost almost $200 more for about 15% more performance...That's not much more for a whole lot more money as is usual for x70 to x80 jump. So what I'm seeing is a bunch of babies who want a 980 specs for the price of a 970. The 980 is barely better than a 970 and costs so much more yet you're whining about the 970 WHEN YOU WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS AN "ISSUE" UNLESS SOMEONE POSTED IT.
People are freaking out for basically no reason.
The ONLY issue I have is I would like the full 4GB or VRAM, I'm not super salty though as it's only 512MB out of 4096MB and 99% of people with this card won't hit the 3.5GB mark so it's not a huge issue.

oskarstankovic reacted to Doughnutnator in Do you think that Nvidia should recall 970's? (and Nvidia's response)
A Maxwell GPU with 64 ROPS and 2048KB of cache will perform the same or more than a 970.No, I didn't enjoyed the card. Take a look at geforce forums, tons of issues since launch. It took me like 1 month to make the card work properly (Changing from W7 to W8.1 and even buying an SSD)
Yes, I realized this. So? That doesn't mean that Nvidia didn't lied to me and to every 970 owner before yesterday.
This is false advertsing.
You don't care? Fine. I care, because they sold me a product with certain specifications, I want that. That's it.
To put this on perspective, this is similar to someone that buys a car that says "brakes can stop the car at 100km/h", the guy goes at 100km/h, tries to break, breaks doesn't work as advertised and the guy dies thanks to this. Later the company says "oops sorry, brakes can stop the card at 50km/h, not 100"
You don't say "well, you buy a car because you want to go fast and you want power, not because you want brakes"
I'm 100% sure that if this happened to AMD, everybody and their mother would be outside AMD headquarters with giant forks

oskarstankovic reacted to Doughnutnator in Do you think that Nvidia should recall 970's? (and Nvidia's response)
This is more a legal/moral issue.
I paid for a specific 970 configuration (64ROPS, 2048K L2 cache), not a 1792Kb, 56ROPS one.
I just want what I paid for, that's it
-
oskarstankovic reacted to d3sl91 in Do you think that Nvidia should recall 970's? (and Nvidia's response)
Last time I checked, all my friend's GTX 970s work perfectly fine. People looked at benchmarks, looked at performance ratings at the resolutions and settings they would be running, looked at the prices, and bought them, and they performed exactly as expected.
So, no. Its not like 6 months later they are breaking, they are still performing just the same they did when purchased, and the review copies that benchmarkers got, are the same that people purchased.
So, my vote goes for no, people don't need their money back and nvidia doesnt need to recall the cards.
Not saying they shouldnt, just that they dont NEED too.

You need to go to Gigabyte's website and download OC Guru 2 (http://www.gigabyte.com.au/support-downloads/utility.aspx?cg=3), or download MSI afterburner (not as good if your learning to overclock). Use these settings for the overclock (or 140Mhz GPU to be safe, memory can go to 500MHz but its not quite as important for increasing speed):
Note: you need to do loads of clicking to overclock with OC Guru
