I will say that as someone with a $300 budget for her rig, and seeing you debate the difference between an $80 cpu and a $125 cpu, (a $20 difference after motherboards) that $20 makes a hell of a difference for the budget bracket.it is the difference between a 750 and an R7-265, which will mean a hell of a lot more than i3 vs 860K.
My word is to go 860K.

Well technically speaking every CPU is a bottleneck, even intel.
But IMO an 8320/50 is enough to get the closest performance to intel while on a budget
 
Don't even consider the 9000 series.

Oh wow. I've heard of fanboys, but this is BAD.

For me, it was when I went to best buy for the first time, and the geek squad insisted on showing me what to buy.
Core i7-3770, Geforce GT-630... you get the idea...
 
But they decided to explain absolutely everything, even after I told them that I knew what I was doing.

all 3 cheaper, & just as fast or faster.
 
then again... I'm an overclocking fangirl....

a 270 will give you 1080P 45FPS, by the way
I'd personally go for 900P 60FPS.
