Except this entire space is driven by consumers and enterprise wanting to cut back on electricity expenses. Look at the data center, virtualization and cloud computing. The industry is already moving in the green direction.

I'll ignore the fructose/sugar thing, because being in Australia, my opinion is the opposite (probs because i don't consumer the syrup very often).

forewarning, if your CPU is a low powered thing, make sure you don't use parity. Your write speed will suck.

Already time to dust off the powershell "grab everything from the ignite website" script again, already? it was like 200GB last year, and I still haven't had the time to watch everything.

I strongly recommend you forget about non-standard ports. If you're opening up SSH to the internet, you:
    - Setup key based authentication and disable the user password
    - Setup fail2ban.

You can use PuTTYgen to convert the key to a .ppk file for using Putty.
You can import your key into Filezilla for using SFTP file transfer.

I then have a copy of my key on my OneDrive for accessing it on my Windows computer and from other machines if im not at my own machine.

Just use packet tracer. you'll learn a lot more and still have in internet connection while you tinker with ios. TBH it is good enough to get you to CCNA (and CCNP if you use cisco gear at work).

Ltt doesn't do technical stuff... They are like the CTO (judging by the server issues, an incompetent one at that). Thinks they know the nitty and gritty, but if you ask them to harden the network, they'll make a dick joke.

    Let me re-phrase...

    1. I agree with you. I am just telling you how it is done in enterprise.
    2. they are using layer 3 roaming, this is the technical term to have the network decide which AP each client should connect to.
    3. The end points are presented with a single 'AP'.
    4. You could setup 50+ SSID's, and have them all called the same. This tends not to work however, as it realize on the client being smart enough to hop between the AP's. its short fall can be overcome, but it requires a lot of network engineering.

Blake got a reaction from Dabombinable in 1080 and 1070 Prices the TRUTH
Good to see you know economics and have an intricate knowledge of a foreign countries tax laws... If the AUD is worth 0.01USD, that doesn't mean the price will fluctuate, that just means it should cost approx. 100x more AUD then USD to purchase. (i.e. if it costs 1USD i'd need to spend 100AUD for the same product). Shipping costs, while higher, and negligible, and also would remain stable. Import duties, would also stay stable. you have pointed at things that are static in nature, yes are asking people to wait for prices to come down. I was pointing out that in a lot of places, we don't have 'scalpers', and the prices are going to stay where they are until nvidia announces a price drop.

looking at the 1080 founder's 699USD -> ~940AUD but for some stupid reason you yanks don't add the sales taxes onto the sticker price, so including taxes 1034AUD, cheapest i can see is 1155, so that would be a mark-up of ~120 over MSRP. is that going to change? nope.

Also you see how i left off duty rate? yeah there aren't any on most laptops/electronics.

EDIT: Yes, the spooling and grammar are horrible, but fuck editing the post of fix em, cbf

And that there is why I'm one of the people not pissed at the pricing in Australia. Because taking into consideration at the very least the exchange rate, the prices actually make sense (though the value of the USD never really does due to the US debt and it not being backed by gold any more).

Blake reacted to KuJoe in Domino's wants to track it's customers (when they order a pizza) in Australia
This is a non-issue. If you don't want them to track you then just call them and place the order or order off their website. People complaining about this are running out of things that make them angry (if only they used their energy for something positive).

If you are given 3 options and 1 of those options you don't like then go with the option that you do like. I don't complain about a lack of stamps at my house when I get a bill in the mail, I just pay the bill online instead.

Look this is opt in, last time i made an order it asked me if i wanted to share my location so they could time the pizza coming out of the oven with me arriving at the store, pressed no and I haven't been asked again.

    What makes it any different?
All most of us want is functional performance.

    Just for you!

    What is an SoC?
An SoC, or system-on-a-chip to give its full name, integrates almost all of these components into a single silicon chip. Along with a CPU, an SoC usually contains a GPU (a graphics processor), memory, USB controller, power management circuits, and wireless radios (WiFi, 3G, 4G LTE, and so on). Whereas a CPU cannot function without dozens of other chips, it’s possible to build complete computers with just a single SoC.

So the CPU will have additional features and you are mad over this? bruh cry more.
