burningfyra reacted to STRMfrmXMN in power supply clarification
Rifle bearing fan and lack of Corsair link on the RMx.
EDIT: I could do to quote the right guy @burningfyra
And yes, worth the $10 for the longevity of the fan but not for Corsair link unless you really need to read the voltages and wattage readout of your system.

burningfyra reacted to DevilishBooster in want another reason to keep ADBlock active? how about ransomware .. yep!
I will say it once again, "The world is full of douche-nozzles".
Sometimes I wish I could just completely unplug from society and go live in a cabin in the mountains. *le sigh*

its worth it imo
people who wants desktop gaming experience needs to build a desktop
which is far beyond $500

burningfyra reacted to dmegatool in Trials on Tatooine: New VR Star Wars game for HTC Vive
"A cinematic virtual reality experiment" ... Doesn't sounds like a game to me. Pretty sure you'll be in static position anyway. So it's like Time Crisis but with a lightsaber ? Don't want to sound too pessimist but I'll keep my expectation low... like to no expectation at all.

burningfyra reacted to LinusTech in Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?
I plugged a 4 pin floppy connector into a CD aux connector on a sound card when I was quite young. The blue smoke that made the sound card work escaped.

burningfyra reacted to Glenwing in What is the difference between these monitors
The PB278QR is flicker-free and uses a slightly newer panel, but should not be much different looking. The PB278Q uses PWM.

Cheers, Liberal voters. This is great! Maybe by my 30th I'll have decent speeds for my business work <3
/For international people, our "Liberals" are the conservatives here. Not Liberal at all really, like... maybe on high income tax breaks? Yeah, the rich get liberty.
