thewafflemaster reacted to DocSwag in Apple will be putting Usb-C on the newer iPhones [RUMOUR]
Nah I doubt it. They make money off charging people money if they make chargers with lightning connectors and if they move the USB c they can't do that

thewafflemaster reacted to manikyath in Tesla Is Going To Air An Advertisement, But They Won't Be Producing It
my first thought with an LMG tesla ad: "we dropped it and left it in the rain, it still works, recommended."

thewafflemaster reacted to terrytek in Blizzard is ending support for Win XP and Vista
its sad seeing vista support being axed. it's still a very good operating system, and i liked it over 7 and even 8 and 10.

thewafflemaster reacted to BuckGup in Blizzard is ending support for Win XP and Vista
Yes but it is 2017 Windows 7+ is a must for anyone who wants any type of security patches. I am 100% fine with this

thewafflemaster reacted to Bouzoo in Blizzard is ending support for Win XP and Vista
The truth is, except for personal preference, there is literally no reason to support an 11 year old OS which is the 4th oldest consumer edition at this moment (not counting Win 8 and 8.1 separately).

thewafflemaster reacted to RadiatingLight in NVIDIA 1080 Ti Launch Event Countdown
Well 1080Ti is way too expensive for me, but it's cool to see the GPU market push forward.
I just hope this won't crush VEGA because AMD needs some life.

thewafflemaster reacted to FilipSebik in How big of an issue is 30fps gaming?
30 FPS is nice for videos or movies. Games at 30 FPS are just moving images that makes no sense and it's worst. Try to put your refresh rate on 30Hz and you will see

thewafflemaster reacted to zMeul in valve writer for portal and half life 2 LEFT!!
if you scratch your balls for 6 years, continuously, you kinda' get bored
-
thewafflemaster reacted to Notional in valve writer for portal and half life 2 LEFT!!
I mean, it's not like he had anything to do there anymore. The artist behind the look and feel of Half Life 2 left long ago to make Dishonored, so it's not exactly new. Valve is a microtransaction company now, that focuses on Steam as a retailer, and with online games, they can nickel and dime to hell.

thewafflemaster reacted to Sauron in The 'Fappening' hackers have been sentenced!
I'd have given them some more time, make them an example of sorts. One thing is hacking icloud to show your 1337 5k1llz, another is invading an innocent person's private life.
Granted, having naked pictures of yourself anywhere on the internet is a bad idea, but I guess this story might serve as a cautionary tale for both sides.
