Look into this before fathering children, please. For your own sake if not for theirs. Kids are not legally responsible for the crimes they commit. Until the age of 14 in Germany, it's the parent, who pays the fines and in cases, goes to jail. Obviously you'd risk losing your kid to social services too. Like I said, sneaking behind the backs of your parents has nothing to do with privacy. I'm not saying privacy isn't among the most important freedoms us humans can have. Not even that kids should not be entitled to a degree of privacy from their parents too. But it's the parent's task to determine that degree, not the kid's.

I like a good story, that's why I mostly play linear games. Side quests distract me and help me forget (due to duration) what's going on in the main plot. 
That being said, I'm not against open world games -- obviously I've put plenty of hours into GTA and I'm very interested in continuing Syndicate.  But I don't think I'll get Just Cause 3. I've got a few others in my Steam library I'd want to play before getting anything else.

Anti-aliasing, good point.  Higher resolutions don't need it very much, if at all. 
 
I don't have Steam's frame-rate counter enabled very often, or hardware monitors running in the background, but ya on occasion it will stutter. I'd have to pay more attention again to see where/when, though.  But just like the fps counter, it's not often.  Maybe I'm being too picky -- it's possible I am. 
 
 
When you played GTA5, did you complete all the side quests, too?  

I completely get where you are coming from.  A decent amount of the missions I wish I could skip unless they actually involve doing something.  I will say that in my opinion they get a little better the farther you get in to the game.

RESULTS is all I'm interested in, and I've gotten my dollar's worth, you can be sure.  This photo is just for the rebates on MY computer that I built last month.  Not to mention all the parts that had rebates on my son's two computers.  
 
If it takes you too long to use some scissors and tape and package an envelope, then I'm sorry for you.  It takes me all of 5 minutes.  5 minutes for $100?   That sure made a deal for me on all the parts I bought.  
 
If you're a savvy shopper, you'll buy when there's a sale and a rebate. It happens.  It's a pity you haven't found those deals yet. 

For the 1% of gamers that sit on forums all day bickering about this stuff you are correct. But for the masses these are a great product. who would you want to sell to, 1% that thinks because its labeled gaming headset its automatically bad, or the 99% that see gaming headset and think sweet this will work perfect for gaming while they are looking at games in the game section of a store in a gaming mindset.
 
Most people wont go to the headphone section by the phone accessories and or home theaters and go man I bet these will sound amazing while I play games, but if those same headphones are placed in the gaming section with other gaming peripherals they will associate it with gaming. OH WAIT... that is exactly what these do...

As I said, I don't care about a guarantee, and all of the rebates I have sent were fulfilled. Guaranteed or not, I'm getting money back. I laugh at the fact that you don't want some one handing you money. That's bizarre.
Not real money? A prepaid American Express card isn't real money? Tell that to the gas station pump, or the grocery store cashier. It's real, bro. I spend it, and I swipe the card just like I do my credit card. If you mean it's not real cash, who the hell cares? I'm a grown man in 2015... I don't use cash. Every one takes plastic. If they don't, they don't get my business. But I've never had that happen.
I've wasted no time "waiting" on a rebate. My life continues as normal and I do everything I would do without sending in a rebate. You put your life on hold when you send mail? That's pretty strange, dude.
I can tell you're grumpy and bitter about something. I'll just imagine that you got burned on some rebates once before because you didn't fill out the form properly... and you want to hate and blame the process rather than your own ignorance.

I work. Voluntarily.
I get paid double time and a half for working all week of the 21st. I looove that big ass paycheck.
If you mean how to recognize and celebrate, I don't. No tree. No party. I'm not sentimental and I don't believe in that stuff. But I do like buying things for people. I see it as a time of year for an excuse to be nice to people and buy them something that they'll like and smile about when unwrapping it. Even though they just spent money on you for the same reason. That's weird because from a certain perspective, that really just means we're buying stuff for ourselves.

@EthanTheFrogMan I'm an old guy compared to you, but the belief or disbelief in a god doesn't seem to be something that goes away in terms of adults looking for potential mates/partners in my experience. I'm an atheist and to be honest, I don't want to date some one that believes in a god. The reason would sound condescending at first glance to any believers so I won't include it, but that's my answer to a question in your original post.
