For an MG to rank up you need 10 consecutive wins.

 

You can thank valve for it's BS fucking rank changes.

 

I'm a DMG BTW.

Funny story. I ranked up LEM > Supreme after 2 losses, 1 win, after losing my global rank (to not playing) and replacing.

tl;dr

lose rank

re-place (18-6 KD, 16-3 game) to LEM

lose 2

win 1 > rank to supreme

 

so whine more, homie. or just get better, whichever works. :)

I was 6 wins in on DMG and literally a win away from LE as i was vs LE on my 6th win.

 

My main dropped to MGE after 1 loss thanks to this shit update, and now my alt dropped to MG1 from MGE, and it's impossible to rank it back up.

Simple. The game is fine. Anything competitive will have some form of cheating. League/Dota? Scripters. CoD (lol, i know)/CS? Wallers, aimers, etc. If you can't handle that, you can't handle competitive gaming. It's inevitable. Not only that, you fail to recognize that ranks have changed. CSGO is fine and still growing. 

 

tl;dr: Your entire "dead" statement? Unfounded. You're not going to rank up off 5 ok games, you're not a god.

Well there is no fucking point any more to CSGO MM, i worked my way from Silver 3 to DMG Solo Q and was at the very edge of getting Eagle.

 

The game is just being adjusted because tossers up at higher ranks were crying, yeah and i could take on the LEM guys, i won a few matches vs Supreme even, you jerks are not even that fucking good yourself, but because you are up there before others you just look down on others, well good for you and keep your fucking trash game.

I agree sorta. After some recent updates the game users base has slowly declined but it is still second on steam

Just to recap what happened in this thread because I was indirected:

 

OP is upset that he's not ranking up due to ranks being changed because there was a large number of players up in the high ranks. A healthy ranking system would theoretically put the best players at the top, worst at the bottom, average in the middle, and those in between... in between. Valve had to change the ranks so that the median would actually sit somewhere in the middle of the ranks, rather than have ranks like this.

If you count... there's 18 ranks, with a whopping 15% of the players being in the "best" 3 ranks. Not quite how you'd define best, huh? Healthy would be shifting that 19.1 and 12.7 for DMG and MGE respectively down to somewhere closer in the middle - GN3/GNM/MG1.

I dno if any of guys read anything about cs go but there was a rank shift maybe a week ago. So everyone is deranking in order to balance the ranks correctly.

Well there is no fucking point any more to CSGO MM, i worked my way from Silver 3 to DMG Solo Q and was at the very edge of getting Eagle.

The game is just being adjusted because tossers up at higher ranks were crying, yeah and i could take on the LEM guys, i won a few matches vs Supreme even, you jerks are not even that fucking good yourself, but because you are up there before others you just look down on others, well good for you and keep your fucking trash game.

Someone is salty. Play with a healthy mind, and also reason for the rank shuffle and why you could take on supremes is because it took no effort to get to global, and dmg+ made no difference in skill

I was 6 wins in on DMG and literally a win away from LE as i was vs LE on my 6th win.

My main dropped to MGE after 1 loss thanks to this shit update, and now my alt dropped to MG1 from MGE, and it's impossible to rank it back up.

DMG to LE about a year ago, before global got easy, was also 9-10 wins in a row and a loss would reset that completely. Get better and get friends at similar rank and skill level, it is that simple
