Naeem reacted to Slyboi14 in Headset makes a weird static noise
This Sounds (no pun intended) like Electrical noise. you could try purchasing some Ferrite Beads and putting them near the jack and seing if that helps. They should stop the interference and they cost next to nothing. chances are that you may even have one kicking around if you have a modern television, they sometimes come with them

Naeem reacted to Oshino Shinobu in Driver updater?
Most of them should be on the motherboard page. Things like the Ethernet, USB, Chipset and any other chipset (like ASMedia) should be on there. There's things like peripherals that won't be on the motherboard page, but most of the time they download automatically. You can try using the search online feature when installing the drivers from device manager, but a lot of the time it won't find them.

Naeem reacted to Fate in i5 4690k / i7 4790k
4690k is fine for livestreaming, you can also use Quick Sync/Shadowplay if you want to take almost all load off the CPU.
I'd say unless you're really serious about livestreaming (you haven't even started), get the 4690k.

There's my card. :-)

Naeem reacted to wyattzx in gtx 980/970
Truth be told I am not overclocking my card - the very card I just said overclocks well. I am not bothering yet because I need a new CPU to push past these bottlenecks.
That aside, yes, it is VERY easy! Especially with programs like MSi Afterburner, EVGA PRecisionX, etc! Bump up the Power Target, bump up your clocks, and start pushing the card to as far as it can go while being stable! I'd go more in-depth, but it's 5am and I haven't slept and there are plenty of guides out there for you. :-)

Naeem reacted to 1Scotty1 in gtx 980/970
I meant the part - Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)

Yes. The only game I know it doesn't handle at 1080p Ultra is Shadow of Mordor with the HD Textures. (Recommends a 6GB card.)
Otherwise, you should see no issues! I don't know a game I can't play at Ultra with my EVGA SSC 970!

Naeem reacted to Enderman in What is virtual memory?
Virtual RAM uses your drive space for caching data. Hard drives are extremely slow compared to RAM, which will make anything cached in virtual RAM perform horribly.
Even with an SSD you will still have severe performance issues with virtual RAM.
The only solution to get more performance is to physically increase your RAM, because using virtual RAM will be EXTREMELY SLOW!
100MBps for HDD compared to 7000MBps for RAM.

Naeem reacted to uhMayzedHD in Gtx 970 vs Gtx 980
Honestly I would go with a GTX 980 and GTX 980 is amazing for the price I think it was 780ti was like 700-600 for it price! And the 980 is more powerful than 780ti but since 900 series came out the 700 series and others gpu drop!
If you planning go SLI later I would get the most powerful GPU you can get now and SLI it later
Issues with SLI
1) Not all games are supported - with only one card you do not have this problem 2) Micro-stuttering in SLI - with only one card you do not have this problem 3) Some games do not work correctly in SLI (The Witcher, Rage etc.) 4) While one card owners are playing new big game releases from day 1, you just sit there and wait for your SLI profile -

Naeem reacted to MuffinTopMike in Need a good audio managing software
So it turns out that your laptop does actually use a Realtek audio chipset, maybe the latest Realtek driver with HD audio manager isn't installed. Here is the audio driver for your laptop - http://www.toshiba.nl/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=NL&selCategory=2&selFamily=2&selSeries=312&selProduct=6013&selShortMod=3011&language=12&selOS=30&selType=42&yearupload=&monthupload=&dayupload=&useDate=null&mode=allMachines&search=&action=search&macId=&country=24&selectedLanguage=12&type=42&page=1&ID=93245&OSID=30&driverLanguage=42 install it and then search to see if audio manager has been installed on you computer.

Naeem reacted to kwljunky in Need a good audio managing software
Don't you need a background cancelling mike for that, like the Game Zero has?
Or The thing that comes with the Phoebus sound card?
For software, the only thing I can think of is Razer Coms and Razer surround:
