If this build isn't until black friday I would strongly suggest waiting till then. It's likely new hardware will be released by that point, and you might be able to get some really good sales that will completely change your build.

I started planning my current build like a year ago, and waited until BF, and it was totally worth it.

You got hustled my man. Take it as a learning experience.

If someone needed it shipped somewhere they should have been contacting eBay to change the shipping location, at that point its their problem, not yours.

Be thankful you have parents that are willing to fork over $1125 because of your mistake, that's pretty awesome.

If you paid by credit card you can just contest the charge and get your money back, charge-back those crooks.

When you're talking to Amazon are you talking directly to an Amazon agent or is it just a 3rd party seller messaging with you.  If it's the latter, I would stop talking to them and get an Amazon A to Z claim going where you force Amazon's hand by demanding a refund (use the site to directly get Amazon support and file the A to Z claim).  You sent the goods back and the seller is clearly a scammer if what you say is true, they need to help you if you just tell them you  had your money scammed.

I mean if you have video proof AND proof that you sent the item back for a refund and Amazon told you to do that then you could probably just sue them (or threaten to), if it comes to that talk to a lawyer.

Talk to your bank, if they agree that you were scammed they should be able to roll back the transaction.

    Tinfoil crackpot theory?
This is why I don't bother interacting online a lot. Everything seems to devolve into silly arguments when all I wanted was to share cool TVs I was personally excited about!

Anyways, I don't see how what you're suggesting/contributing is any different from what I said... we should be in agreement based on what you wrote.

    1) Don't use the features, or just sandbox them (which I didn't mention cause I didn't wanna bother getting into that.)
    2) Everything else spies on you anyway.

Also, your third option of buy a monitor is illogical, if you need a large format display you only have so many options so just follow your 2nd option and for all intents and purposes you have a computer monitor... and if you need a computer monitor, just buy a computer monitor...

What do I do? Nothing because I disable them. The functionality they provide to me is useless; as is anything a Chromecast or Roku could offer so it's irrelevant in my case.

If I were to use them they could harvest many things. Sony takes audio data used for voice commands. Just like Amazon home devices they're always listening waiting for those commands and Vizio was caught automatically opting user in to sending data letting them watch whatever your TV was displaying basically. Chromecast and Roku have many of the same and also different risks.

There is no stopping it, only mitigating it and making your data less useful. Everybody is tracking your habits, and building personalized profiles on you, and selling it to companies that maintain data sets used to further their own agendas. Why should I just roll over and let them harvest what they want? They reap the rewards and I get nothing. Pretty unfair deal. That's the issue I and most people care about mitigating not protecting my  "Banking and 'private' social media stuff". Clearly you don't really understand or care to understand what these issues are if you're tossing that line around.

Always a mistake to let Smart TV's have access to Wi-Fi beyond updating firmware regardless of manufacturer. If you don't think others are collecting data too that's naive, only difference is they haven't been caught or are hiding in legal grey areas.

Okay good, now that we have that little mix up sorted out, we cam shift gears back to the real question(s) at hand:

Advice and suggestions about the loop itself under the umbrella of a max radiator size of 120mm and a case restriction as well.
Perfect, don't let the door hit you on the way out. And no, the parts have not even been ordered yet so there's certainly no way they could be assembled at this stage in the game.  Perhaps if you had read my posts a little more closely I wouldn't have to always come back and enlighten you. Case in point.

And the only reason I was getting frustrated earlier is that when some of these forum cooling "gods" roll in to give advice. In this case they try to wet blanket re-design an interesting challenge and trade it for a boring, not so interesting standard run of the mill liquid cooling PC build. Sometimes they take liberties as they are well in command of all things cooling related and in some cases, essentially take over the build itself, totally disregarding the end users vision because you "think you know better". Some people are cool with that, since the guidance is usually good and the end user knows he's gonna get a great result if he follows instructions. And then there are other people, perhaps people that have been working in computers for over a decade and who's built everything under the sun, who wants to do something a little more different and creative. Just don't be shocked when I set the rules. It is MY challenge, after all.

Okay guys lets move forward with this in mind and keep on topic to the actual root of my questions regarding the performance of my loop.

Same all core OC? XT models are hitting 4.5GHz at around 1.3V, I doubt you'll get that.

Remember date doesnt mean everything, yes 2020 version 3600 will beat 2019 version 3600, but it's still the worst bin of Ryzen dies at 2020. It will be worse than X and XT models on average.

As for your single core boost not getting much faster than the factory rated 4.2GHz max, it's possible that you're hitting the very same cap. Try +200MHz offset like @Statik suggests but if it doesnt perform better, it's normal.

Statik reacted to DailyProcrastinator in Blower Graphics Card for NZXT H1?
Blower cards are not a bad idea, as they exhaust out of the back of the card instead of the sides, thus keeping the case temps lower, but in this case I would just get a standard dual fan model.

And as @Mateyyy said I would highly recommend waiting for next gen GPU's, especially if you are spending 2080Ti money. Personally, I would feel pretty demoralized to spend that money and in a few short months no longer have the best consumer gaming GPU.
  19. Agree
Statik reacted to Mateyyy in Blower Graphics Card for NZXT H1?
If anything, a blower style cooler will only increase the GPU's temps, not decrease them. What blower coolers are supposed to do is not spread heat to the other components as much, but considering the H1's layout I wouldn't really worry about that.
Go with an open-air cooler card.
    A 2080Ti barely holds 60FPS in RDR2 maxed out at 1440p.

I'd suggest waiting for Ampere/RDNA2 cards, coming later this year.

Statik got a reaction from Mad153 in PIA and their "advertising"
I feel this is vaguely correct. If people don't have an understanding of them, they might misinterpretation information, but on the otherhand, if someone sees an info-graphic then spends $90 without a lick of thought, then imo they brought that upon yourself. You should educate yourself on anything you spend money on, or suffer any consequences.

But I also believe, and agree with you, that since VPNs are buisnesses, their marketing attempts, and attempts to compete with each other do bring up possibly problematic advertising schemes (i.e. Basically every VPN has some form of "WE'RE #1 VPN EVAR", or "BEST IN CLASS" plastered somewhere on their website)
I agree with this. I believe PIA is trying to express that things like, you visiting your gmail, can be seen by ISPs, Network owners, or prying eyes on public networks (which they go into detail on their "how it works" tab). I think OP was worried about people taking it out of context and misinterpreting it, but I feel in doing that he also misinterpreted it.
