nivra552

Corsair's af140 fans are alright for airflow, or for static pressure they have sp140s as well.

No, no, no, no, no, nooooo...-NO

Corsair fans can move air like a jet engine, fitting too, because they're just about as loud.

Noctua makes FAR better fans, Be Quiet makes FAR better fans, and Phanteks makes FAR better fans.

As far as case fans go, as long as they won't be on a rad, then get some Be Quiets, they cost about as much as a silent edition corsair af140, and are half as loud, and move just as much air.

I love my Corsair AF140 quiet fan. I own the blue LED one as exhaust due to my thermaltake v21 having a pre-installed 200mm intake fan.

Really, it's pretty quiet. :)

I never said they were the absolute best fans, I just said that they're alright.

Noctua fans are expensive af, so are be quiet's fans..

Neither do I mate

well you must have a lot of ambient noise then, or bad hearing

cause I'm about 2m away from my PC, and I can clearly hear the difference between a 16 and 21dba fan

lol there is no such thing as "no noise"

unless you live in an anechoic isolated chamber there is no way that there is "no noise"

plus you probably have a GPU and PSU fan there as well

so if you cant hear those loud corsair fans then you really do have bad hearing

No, I'm just saying OP should not buy corsair fans because they are all loud.

My point is so that he doesnt waste money on loud fans that don't perform well. There are plenty of better (and cheaper) options.
