Can someone check this build?

First time posting on the forum, sorry if I'm in the wrong category.

I am also doing a first time build and would like to ask for some enthusiasts to give me some insight on if it's good or not.

Here's the link:

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/badmanbman/saved/zscD4D

Note: I might switch out the 960 for a 770 my friend is selling me for 100 dollars.

Get an i3 4170 instead of an fx 6300, except if you are rendering.

Get a 770 or r9 380(x) instead of a 960, both are more powerful.

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

Are you sure the CPU won't bottleneck?

Shouldn't do.

An upgrade to an i5-4460 down the road would be good though.

Assuming you don't need an HDD or SSD since your original build didn't include one, you can do this:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($159.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($28.99 @ Newegg)

Total: $449.41
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

which is better than your build in ever way.

The 380 performs better than the 960, and it's also cheaper. The price/performance ratio is VASTLY in the 380's favor right now.

i5 4460 is quite a bit more powerful - you have enough room in the budget - just check the build I posted and get that board and PSU :)
