What fans are popular?

Vozella

What fans, regardless of price, are good and known?

I'm asking because I don't know anything about the market for case fans and I'm looking for fans myself. I'm looking to buy three fans. I'd prefer them to be quiet. What about the FD Venturi fans? I've seen ads about them. Are they good? How are Noctuas?

Do people do benchmarks on temperatures and noise for these things?

In case you need to know, I have a Core 500 case.

Noctua's are expensive and awesome, Corsair are less expensive and awesome. I like the Corsair Fans more cause they match with my stuff, cost less and don't look like poo and barf :P

I have 6 corsair SP 120 silents running in my system... theyre seriously silent, they come with one of those little attachment things to lover the Amperage (i think?) to make them even quieter in the box. You can hear a pin drop while the PC is running. The color Rings are cool for easy customization too.

Anything BUT corsair fans. They look sexy, but are loud as fuck. The silent edition are marginally better, but only marginally. For the same price there are MUCH better options

Noctua, Noiseblockerz, and Be Quiet! for silence, Vardar and Typhoon for radiators,

I own both Corsairs fans and Noctua fans...

The Corsair fans looks great, but can get loud especially the AF140 in comparison to a Noctua A14.

Noctua fans, although does not look too great, are in my opinion the best. I recommend getting those if you are putting them somewhere you can't see directly through a side window

I have no experience with be Quiet but as far as I know, they seem great and a lot of people recommend them as well.

Noctua's Vomit-Poop color scheme is very iconic. But they can also come on grey/black 'redux' combo. Good fans but pricey.

I tried some Corsair SP120 LEDs for my H100i and they both emitted loud high pitch whines. Swapped out for NF-F12s, silence ever since (unless under extreme load of course)
