is watch dogs worth a play?

I enjoyed my time with it at full price, I absolutely ADORED the multiplayer but I think it was getting hack heavy towards my finishing the game, tht being said its not the flavor of the month anymore so it might be toned down

It's not a bad game, just, by possibly Ubisoft's fault, they completely overhyped it, and when it turned out to be a 7/10 game people were disappointed, it doesn't mean it's not worth playing.

It wasn't that fun, but it wasn't boring.

The controls felt wrong and didn't look that nice aesthetically.

For $5 sure, it gets a little repetitive though. Also from what i remember the driving in that game is really not great. (I love driving in open world games so I'm a little picky ab that stuff)

I loved that game, it was clouded in so much shit that everyone automatically hated

the game (most people without playing it)  If you get theworsts mod I'd say its one of

my top fifteen games, it was a concept that hadn't REALLY been explored and they

did pretty well. I'd recommend you play especially with how cheap it is

Gotta agree with Gale here. It's a great game for $5-$10, nice open world and the gunplay is pretty good and the gadgets are really fun to play with.

I'd say Watch Dogs is like Assassin's Creed 1, a ton of potential but not quite where it needs to be but still worth playing, even for just a few hours.

Well yeah, Watch Dogs and every other open world game for the last 10 years. Games are iterative—if you threw out every game that was basically a clone of another, you wouldn't have many games left.

 

For $5 yes, in my opinion, it's worth playing. It's alright.

 

I recommend using the mod to re-enable the graphics from the E3 trailer.

Ubi deserved a lot of the hate it got but honestly its a pretty decent game, just ignore the ridiculous driving physics and awful music on the car stereos.

Personally I enjoyed it and played the story right the way through.

 

Admittedly I'd have probably been a little pissed if I'd paid full price for it at release but thanks to an error, I got it for well under RRP.

 

For $5 I'd definitely give it a go.

Its not a bad game. But, it's not "that good" also.

But, that's a good price. I suggest u take it since it's quite fun to play.

My thoughts about "what's wrong with this game are"

1. Poorly written story

2. Performance issues (i don't know of they alredy fix it or not after a year)

3. This is the real problem with this game (at least for me). Everything that u saw on the very first trailer are everything that this game have. Those are all of the features that this game have. Nothing new till the end of story. Usually, people make a trailer that represents some of it's feature. Not all of them because people always expect something more than what they saw on trailer. Right?

But, after all, this game deserves a try.

Especially for $5. U'll have a bit fun with it
