[US/CA] LG G2 factory unlocked 32GB for $200 (white/black, free ship)

Dealzon

Pretty hot deal. Once again I'm tempted to buy this to replace the wife's broken Nexus 4 which will cost about $20-$50 to repair.. or just sink another $150 for this bad boy (which is a bigger version of my Nexus 5 basically).

edit 2/13/15: deals's back. new units and in stock.

I think this seller does international shipping but I'm pretty sure after adding cost + potential custom fee it'll kill any savings.

Really good deal  if your in America. Up here in Canada, though still very good, not as good as America's. Conversion from dollar to loonie is pretty poor and shipping+import fees boost up the total to $280-300, almost 100 more than US. Other than that, awesome.

It's the same size as the iPhone 6 ;) Not really that big.

Also, there shouldn't be any import charges on this phone for Canada. You'll pay tax, of course, but there's no duty on electronics.

Though if the seller ships UPS, they'll bend you over with as many tacked on fees as they can.

It's a good deal, but the zenfone 2 will be a better one 2 months from now :) patience my young padawans

It's more like one month ;)

I can't wait personally! If reviews play out as good as the press events, then I'm definitely going to sell my Nexus 5 for that.

It's still pretty hard to find a cell phone deal anywhere near as good as that ;)

Same here (although I don't have a nexus 5 to sell ^^)! It's finally time to retire my trusty nokia 5800 for the first truly worthy successor. A phone that doesn't do BS compromises on expandability, screen or power and is priced where it should be, rather than joining the 750$ hype.

Also, please tell me I'm not crazy for saying the atom cpu in this is faster than an A8, apple fanboys are driving me nuts

I'm using the G2 right now as my daily driver and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous screen, good battery life, just generally a good all around smart phone, especially at this price.

I just hope they don't price the higher end one too far above the base model.

The Z34x0 beats the A7, but I'm not sure about the A8. Quick search before work didn't bring anything up. Since it's newer it very well could, it beats the 805 in a few things and is just shy of it in graphics tests.

What I'm most interested in is increased battery life. The Z34x0 was supposed to be almost half as hungry as the Snapdragon 800, so I imagine this is even better.

I think we'll only see pricing this cheap for the first year, maybe two. I have a feeling Intel is giving away its chips to establish brand presence.

What color are you getting? I think I'm going red.

It's a shame it's as big as a Note 4, but at that price..I can swallow that pill.

Well, the 34x0 cpus were dual cores with hyperthreading, this is a full quad core :D

Yeah, I get the feeling intel is giving away chips, too. It would make sense, and at the same time asus being asus they probably just want to take over the whole market ^^ the thing I'm most stoked about is the possibility of full desktop OSs working on phones and possibly even in virtual machines (with 4gb of ram a windows 2000 VM would run pretty well, too). Better grab it while the price is low :)

I think I'll get the black one, I don't want it to be too flashy ^^ although red would probably be my second choice. Definitely not gold ;) And yeah, the size is the only sort-of-downside, but as long as it fits in my pocket (and it should) I don't have a huge problem with that. And it will be nice for watching 1080p movies on that sweet ips screen :D

That's pretty much the only way I see Asus bringing in the phone as cheap as it is.

Intel was probably hoping for a home run hit like OnePlus...except no stupid waiting or hunting.

I could see Intel really taking over if their chips really do hold true to their claims. Their GPU's are pretty adequate, and if the battery life proves to be superb, they'd have a real winner.

I know I have no allegiance to Qualcomm. Though, if their SoC proved to have hidden tricks, then it'd get interesting. Better image processing or something.

True true! I held a friends OnePlus One and it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be, so I think this should be pretty sweet.

I'm going red. During the press event it almost looked like there was a copper color and I almost shat myself, alas I was mistaken :(

I believe they'll be swappable too, so I might also pick up one of the odd 3D patterned ones to try out. Eeeee. Exciting.
