That's pretty much the only way I see Asus bringing in the phone as cheap as it is.

Intel was probably hoping for a home run hit like OnePlus...except no stupid waiting or hunting.

I could see Intel really taking over if their chips really do hold true to their claims. Their GPU's are pretty adequate, and if the battery life proves to be superb, they'd have a real winner.

I know I have no allegiance to Qualcomm. Though, if their SoC proved to have hidden tricks, then it'd get interesting. Better image processing or something.

True true! I held a friends OnePlus One and it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be, so I think this should be pretty sweet.

I'm going red. During the press event it almost looked like there was a copper color and I almost shat myself, alas I was mistaken

I believe they'll be swappable too, so I might also pick up one of the odd 3D patterned ones to try out. Eeeee. Exciting.

I'm from Slovenia, I'm lucky if I can even find it in retail here. Retailers in my country don't really know enthusiast over computers.

 

BTW, I'm still waiting for my GPU which I ordered almost 4 MONTHS ago.

Pfff, u 'Muricans always get the best deals on electronics which wouldnt be much of a problem if 'Murica wasnt such a pain in the ass with its VISA system. I would like to move and live in there but as Europan my only chance is to marry someone (never gonna happem, im against marriage).

When i was looking for this phone back in september there was no white colour option for EU region (801). And it was £260 for 16gb black locked, £280 unlocked (out of stock).

G2 is a great phone accorsing to reviews and spec. Of course the lg android skin sucks but for $200 its a bargain !
