Plastidipping a Keyboard?

Fate
Go to solution Solved by bob345,

With proper masking as @bob345 said, you'll be fine. Might wanna sand down the glossy finish first though

i wouldent sand it. Plastidip sticks very well to glossy surfaces and since its plastidip, the whole process is reversible.

I have a Razer Blackwidow and the glossy finish is pretty ugly imo. I was wondering if it's safe to plastidip it? My plan would be to take all of the keys off and put painter's tape over the switches. Good idea or no?

as long as you mask it off properly there shouldn't be any problem with dong that

Me and a few others here would tell you it is a bad idea but that is because we tried it before. I plastidiped my diykeyboard case and it lasted about 2 months then started peeling

@bchampion96 @bob345 @fredrodregus

It worked and looks amazing, so much better than the previous glossy finish.

Any pictures?
