Ubisoft apologizes for "unexpected" Launch bugs and offers free content

It would appear that Ubisoft is trying to make amends for the shoddy launch of Assassin's creed unity with a free DLC, and a free game for those who already have a seasons pass.

At least we are getting something i guess.

Has anyone actually been able to update their game? I've tried a few times today buy uPlay doesn't say theres an update or anything when I launch the game.
