Cryorig will release affordable and "universal" cooler: Cryorig H5

JoaoPRSousa

Not sure if this is new or not. (dont hate me)

... It won’t get in the way of tall memory sticks or PCI-Express devices (on most motherboards), the height of 160 mm will fit in most cases, and it simply looks good. It certainly isn’t built to be the best cooler out there, but it is designed to be universally compatible and affordable.

In my opinion this is going to be a rival of the Hyper 212 EVO, but we must wait for the reviews ;)

It is available here in Portugal already, and it costs 45€, which means, in America it might cost 40/50$

Extra, extra, extra!

Did google start making CPU coolers? The coloring on the fan reminds me of the google chrome logo.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

mmmmm. Nice looking, I want to see how it performs.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

They look soo sexy :) if I would go air cooling, Cryorig would be my cooler of choice.

I would go with a R1, that thing's a BEAST!

Curious to see how this will compare to other similarly sized and priced coolers like the Ashura.

Though something I must already fault Cryorig for, 160mm will not fit in most cases.

It looks really nice but if it's $40 it won't stand a chance against the Hyper 212 Plus. The 212 Plus is $30 and seems to go on sale often enough that it isn't hard to find at $20-25. Might be compelling against the 212 Evo though, especially if it performs better. If they could put it out at $30-35 in the US I could see it being a major competitor to both 212s.

If your case can't hold 160mm it's either mitx or really shitty.
