Hey guys I have been thinking about this for a while. Triple monitors actual good for gaming? Does anyone here think its legit? OR would it be better to have one 4k monitor? your thoughts plz :) also what is your perfect monitor setup?

I will stick to 3 monitors. They are amaze, 3 1080p minitors is around 20% less work for your GPU than one 4K.

This should have been posted in the monitors section. Of course 3 monitors are "legit", if you rig it up in eyeinfinity, don't mind the bezels and have a machine powerful enough to power it.

 

4k Monitors are just starting to take hold but in my opinion are not quite there to invest money into until a IPS version comes out as all current affordable 4k monitors are TN panels.

3 way is the way to go (imo). NOrmally I game on 1, but its incredible to have the option to expand to 3.

I'd go with 1 21:9 1440p. If I wanted to go with three monitors, it'd be a 21:9 flanked by 1440 displays.

3 monitors, I really want a third, one for games, one for a stream/Youtube and another for temps or something, but I have no money :(

Well currently I have two monitors, a main (1080p) and to the left (1050p). The left has everything for monitoring my temps, GPU clock speed, and well, let me just show you it.

I really want to do a 1440p as a main, and then two 1080ps, one to the left and one above the main...

I have 3 27" 1440p monitors and I think it's the perfect balance between resolution, real estate and price. 1080p on a 27" display just isn't enough, imo.
