I think slicks test for mouse acceleration was great, only thing i think could be improved is if you have an external accelerometer on rig/dolly that way you might be able to graph the difference between the input and actual acceleration. This would take out human perception of it

Its all about those volumetric clouds

Cool review, but seeing it just makes me wish there was a wireless edition of the G502. I have the G602 and it's quite good, but I'd rather have a better scroll wheel and I don't need 6 buttons on the side.

Does anyone know if the improved lighting options are going to be added into the G502 software options?

Seems decent

But I think I will still choose the G502 over this as my next mouse

I am undecided

i was going to buy this mouse but i really HATE that single DPI button that is close to the thumb rest. if that was not there i would have it right next to my keyboard right now.
i do like that this mouse has no acceleration. i hate mouse acceleration.

next time you do a mouse review also look into if you can adjust the lift up sensitivity. i hate when you lift the mouse a little and have it still track. im one of those people that lifts their mice a lot

They already are as of the last software update.

Well, I'm not so sure about that hardware based mouse acceleration thingy - I still can't find any on my Logitech G9x, so I'm not about to upgrade. Which laser mice are actually affected by this, anyway?

At 5:02, it was suggested that scrolling up and down was not in the keybinding options. You are actually able to bind scroll up and scroll down in the LGS software (my G500S supports it unless they disabled it) by clicking on the key that you want to modify and press "Edit Command". Click on the "Multi Key" option, and right click in the black box where the commands display, go to "Insert Mouse Event", "Wheel", and there are three options: "Forward", "Backward", or "Click". But if you just want to just bind the scroll action, you would have to press start recording, type in anything, and delete all the commands that you just made in order to unlock the OK button.

I'm quite happy with my Razer Naga Epic, but I do appreciate the fact that Logitech isn't just raising the maximum DPI rating of the sensor and dumping out a new mouse -- like Luke covered.

Sick acceleration test method.  If you could do some tests with all the other mice you've reviewed, and post it in a Google spreadsheet like you do with GPU clock speeds, that would be fantastic. Simple "yes, it's perfect" or "no, it's flawed" would suffice.

I like the G402 more than the G502 because it looks less stupid.

Also, Slick's intros are awesome.

IMO, G402 and G502 are easily the best gaming mice of 2014. Anyone agrees wif me?
