23 Noctuas little sister! =) [completed] (for now...)

Heyho!

23 Noctua was lonely :( So I had to build him a sibling. She is a "budget" build ;)

############ EDIT  August 5th

Soon to be started ;)

post-17859-0-06804400-1407230701_thumb.j

############ Original Post

  • 2x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 DIMM CL9 Single
  • Intel Core i3 4330 2x 3.50GHz So.1150 BOX
  • 520 Watt Seasonic S12II Bronze Non-Modular 80+ Bronze
  • Zalman Z9 Midi Tower ohne Netzteil schwarz
  • ASRock H81M Intel H81 So.1150 Dual Channel DDR3 mATX Retail

The purpose of the rig is having a second rig while building/changing my mainrig. Besides of that I love to play Coop when friends come over :)

The next thing will be a dedicated GPU =) And maaaaaaybe a SSD. Have to see how good the boxed fan does it's job =)

Nothing special, just wanted to share =)

PS: I went with the i3 because it is fast enough :) spent below 300€ and the PSU is that high wattage overkill because sometimes I have to check my or friend's GPUs and a 300W PSU wont handle a 290x ;)

Edit: Switched fans and added an old Aquaero 5LT as fancontroller

Nice, but it just does not have the spunk that the 23 Noctua has.

xD it's his little sister ;) maybe she just needs to grow up :P here and there some more noctuas... a new heatsink :P and maybe next year the latest socket 1150 cpu xD wont OC that pc anyway, so maybe a xeon =) but for now i had my 300€ budget and that was okay =) it handles dota 2 and csgo perfectly with the integrated HD4600 =) And when xmas comes closer, my friends will swap their gpus and maybe I can get a cheap AMD 270 or 280 ;)

Hm. The Boxed-Fan keeps the CPU during IntelBurnTest below 77°C (27°C Roomtemperatur). Seems okay for now :)

It looks so empty without a graphics card ;_;

I like what you've done to hide the PSU cables, it really makes it look neat and tidy :)

Hmmm... still thinking if i should get the gpu...

The NF-F12-PWM will replace the heatsinkfan on the NH-U12P and the original NF-P12 (non PWM) becomes casefan.

All casefans are nonPWM and voltage controlled by the Aquaero, the CPU-Fan ist PWM Controlled by the Mainboard.

=) It is sooo nice and silent :P Btw below 17€ for a NF-F12-PWM seems really cheap =) Nice. Could have saved a lot money some month ago :P
