In my opinion, $4200 is way too much money to spend on a pc. Around $2500-3000 I believe is the best price range. Spend the other money on peripherals or something else.

Buy a 2000$ PC and sell it within 2 or 3 years (whenever you feel its too slow) Use the remaining 2000$ + whatever you get from selling to buy a new one then. Going overkill today wont do you any good, since price/performance starts dropping heavily when you go high up.

$4200 is overkill. I'd go with $2500 max. Otherwise, you're just wasting money.

If you still want to build a totally overkill PC, this should be good enough, and you'll save a bit of money too.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I wonder if people think we're actually human beings and not freaking machines or genies who give freaking wishes at a snap of finger. If I was a genie, I would be a literal genie. Oh, a $4200 PC? Well, here's some random parts that add up to 4.2K. Have fun, "master".

Also, is this another "'future-proof', I'm chasing 4K even though SLI'ed/CF'd GPU's are struggling with 4K" sort of deal? Or is this the "I have money; make me stuff".

Snipermachinema

You are not trolling and want a baller machine? Okay. This is as baller as it can get in this pricepoint. 3 graphics cards(3GB ram is not enough for 4k so your best choice is AMD). Everything watercooled by a custom loop.

WE ARE ALL WAITING FOR PHOTOS  ;)
