If Steam didn't exist, would you still be a PC gamer?

If Lord GabeN was never born, and there was no Steam (nor origin or uPlay or anything like that) would you be a PC gamer? I know personally I wouldn't. But I want to hear from you guys :)

I would be, I'd just have significantly less games (I purchase most of my games on sale :P). We'd also not have Origin or U-Play since they basically copied Steam for their own games only.

well I would have a lot of spare time. I have always wanted my own workshop, so I can build things and fix things.

Well I used to play games and go out and purchase them in stores. Don't see why I'd give up a Keyboard + Mouse and Upgrade-ability when consoles still requires Physical Purchases.

Yes I would, I was playing on PC before any of those came out, in fact I was a PC gamer before windows 98 came out. :D

Ive been gaming on PC since before steam existed ( ive been pc gaming since before we had internet) so yes, yes it would.

Most likely. Id say I started on PC and then shifted to consoles and then slowly came back to PC just because of all the other random stuff you can do on it.

More of a natural progression for me than anything to do with certian software applications.

yes, but I would for sure have less games and I would need an optical drive, which would make some of these new cases really difficult to like.
