750 Hive Bronze or 650 G3 Gold, Vega 56?

ch3w2oy

I ordered one of each for two builds I am doing with the intention on using the G3 Gold for myself as I figured it is an all around better quality PSU. I will be running a 2600X, X470 Gaming 5, Vega 56, and other small things that probably don't matter.. So please don't recommend a different one please ;)

I bought the Hive because it was on sale and am building a Christmas build, but now that I did a little more research on the power consumption, the Vega recommends a 650w PSU. Normally, I am not the type of person that goes for the bare minimum. But I think that the G3 650 would be plentiful.

The 750 is not necessary at all for the other build so using that is not a problem as there is no gpu anyway. I personally really want to use the gold but do not want to sacrifice performance.

higher quality >>>>> higher wattage

all the time.

Do you have other options as well?
But from those two, the EVGA is the better one and the Rosewill the crappier one.

No other options, those have already been ordered. I went with what was on sale at the time and was rushing to get orders in as it was Black Friday.

And I thought the EVGA Gold were good cpus? Or is it because it's the compact model? Lacking features or is just louder? My first choice was Seasonic, but like I said, I was rushing on Black Friday.
