Low FPS in Battlefield 5 with a decent gaming computer

Hey guys about 2 days ago I went onto my PC to play Battlefield 5 as I was playing my computer automatically turned off and began restarting,shortly after that I tried starting the game up again and the same thing happened I tried it multiple times and still the same result, anyways the following day I was able to play the game but with really bad frame drops I tried it even on low settings but still got the same results.

My PC specs are:

MOBO: MSI B350M GAMING PRO

CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x

RAM: 16GB Crucial 8x2 DDR4-2400 (1200MHz)

GPU: ASUS GTX 1060 3GB

PSU: Coolermaster MasterWatt 500 Lite


Any help will be appreciated and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forums I didn't know where to put it.

check CPU and GPU temperatures first

Check temps, power draws, check PSU outputs.

Well, since your gpu is at ~50% load, I'm gonna take a guess that's the issue

@Jurrunio I've had this computer for over a year why is it doing this now? and can a ryzen 1500x even bottleneck a gtx 1060 that  badly?

Well if it was running better before the reboots then it could be something else "bottlenecking" the card. Say power delivery to the CPU took a shit and half the CPU went dead with the remaining half running at 100%. IDK, but it should like something went to shit and the system is not running as good as it used to?

Download HWinfo and tell us what each rail of the PSU is outputting. Also voltage and Amperage on the CPU, ram, and GPU.

I dont think you can play Battlefield 5 a year ago. It just so happens to be a CPU heavy game

 

or something else (malicious software for example) hogging CPU and RAM.

Enable 'Future frame rendering' to fix the issue with low GPU usage.

Your CPU shows 95+% load... doesn't leave anything for the game.

a 1500x will hard bottleneck in bfv with ddr2400 ram, i'm concerned about the forced restarts, either ur temps are out of control or ur psu dying.
