Motherboard for gaming PC

I had recently ordered a motherboard from NCIX for a gaming PC. It was out of stock and I would have to wait until February to get it. That being said, what would be a good fit for this gaming PC?

It has to be around the same price, of course.

Honestly man any Z87 motherboard will do, the difference between them for stock to mild overclock applications are next to none (except for the looks of course).

No we don't?

I would recommend the GTX 780 because the HD 7970 is overpriced. As for the PSU, If you are going to only have one GPU then a 650W will be enough. As for the motherboard, I'd go for the MSI GD-45 Gaming.

it's the same EXACT thing

get an seagate barracuda 1tb drive because it performs about the same but it's cheaper($20-$30 if I remember right)

and this is the motherboard I'd get: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z87g43gaming  my personal preference for a cheap-ish motherboard

AMD Athlon X4 750k; Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2; 8Gb Corsair XMS 1600 Mhz; AMD Hd5670 1Gb DDR3; Bequiet E6-600W; W7 Ultimate x64

Brain fart.

Here's the motherboard: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D12OBEU/?tag=pcpapi-20

That is one of the best Z87 motherboards. I always recommend that and the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H. Both are great.

I've had the 7970 for a little while. Got it when it was selling for about $290 on Newegg. I'll probably switch to Nvidia when I upgrade, though.

No such thing as a GD45. There is a Z87-GD65. Did you mean to say Z87-G45?
