It's 1.7k on Newegg.com too, looks like the $30 price is just on Newegg.ca.

feelsbadman, I could use some of these.

 

Especially since they'd fit in my server, which is currently lacking a bit in storage.

Could grab 100 of them for $1824. You could buy all 607 currently in stock for $11k.

 

Can these be removed from the hot swap bracket to be installed in a standard 2.5" bay like a 'normal' SSD, or is the bracket fixed to the drive and lacking standard mounting holes?

Yeah, if this goes through I'd be amazed. I would have tried to order, but needed to provide a Canadian address to try and checkout. I've still got some in my cart at the $19.99 price, despite the listing being corrected.

Yeah I saw that too, though there's a more recent reply from someone else saying they sales rep said they are cancelling all the orders. My still says payment pending verification :(
